Sounds nice, however this would not effect prices extremely hard. Prices are made up from land size, property size, nearby malls and supermarkets, how close it is to nature and a few other factors. Also it is mainly crime in the span of years that effects pricing and not something that happened last week since it could just be random. However this does make sense, homes with a lot of crime bring more risk and are therefor cheaper. However if a group of players decide to terrorize a street for 1 week would it be fair for the home owners to then get their homes to be worth a lot less? Of course this means those owners might hire a PMC or security company. It has pro's and Con's.

I think you have a good point but if you think about it: Let's say you want a house and it's to expansive. You could go out and pay a few hooligans to create trouble in that area and completely dominate a marked witch would be an extremely deep roleplay.

I hope this gets implemented. BTW yes it is shit for the people that live there but that's how live goes. If you give the players nothing to worry about it will get boring. Think about a player with 2000 hours playtime. He has so much money he has nothing more to do. This would create a way to get money out of peoples pockets back into the economy.

  2. Servers are separated as they sad before.

This is do to the needs of an economy on the Servers. If people use a Server that is empty most of the times to Farm and then sell it on a much denser server with a higher risk of getting robbed or killed it would create a separation between the people meaning less roleplay for everybody.

What about creating a character naming system where you have to give your character a name and maybe even a last name. I think that might be kind of cool and makes your character unique.

This is how it works... (First and Last Name)

I'm kinda late to the party on this, but Assistant Chief of Police isn't really the job title, it's more of what he does. The actual title is Deputy Cheif of Police , Major, or Captain depending on how you want the ranks to go and the size of the department. Also, Commander isn't an actual pay grade title. Commanders are the ones in charge or like a specialty unit like Drug Task Force. Senior Lead Officer isn't a pay grade rank again as well. There isn't a Detective in Charge position but Detectives can have rank such as Lieutenant or Sergeant. I believe a better structure would show as follows:

    - Cheif of Police (1 Position)
    - Major (Assistant Chief of Police, depending on your rank structure) (1 Position)
    - Captain (Deputy Cheif of Police, depending on your rank structure) (2-3 Positions)
    - Lieutenant (Roughly 4-6 Positions)
    - Sergeant
    - Corporal
    - Patrol Officer
    - - You can have Senior Patrol officers designated who have been there a while and can give advice, but usually don't get paid differently than a PO

Also, in general, if there are multiple Lieutenants, one Lieutenant is never a higher rank than the other because that causes drama and trying to pull the rank card on an equal rank, which doesn't work. When you're a Lieutenant and want to become a Captain, you'd apply like you're applying for a new job, but wouldn't become a Senior Lieutenant or anything.

As for warrants, officers apply for their own warrants or may forward their cases to the detective bureau and have the detectives apply for warrants. The warrants are reviewed by the Prosecuting Attorney before being furnished to the Judge to be signed, then executed.

I apologize if this sounds mean, I don't mean it that way at all. You can obviously try to make your department however you are wanting and with whatever system you want. The one I showed just happens to be a more realistic structure based on an 3 separate, approximate 200-300 officer departments.

    Don't apologize.

We're happy to have such aExperienced Community that can give the devs alot of Suggestions & Ideas.

I myself just learned alot through this post so I hope to see more like this by you and others in the future.

  6. External Plate Carrier

My Idea for the Perfect Plate Carrier

    What is this about?

So this is a basic suggestion for the Police Force.

Since im a little boy I wanted to be a Police Officer.

Recently I started looking up Police Gear ( I was really board) and started to get the Opinion that a External Plate Carrier would be the Best functioning and Looking thing to do.

So this would be my wish for a Vest to add into the game.

The amusement park could be located directly outside of the city rather than within the city.

Well if you look at the map a Amusement park would be to big just look at it:

-The cities are far to small

-Amusement park is would be to big for a small island.

-County side is mostly farming and forest.

Pretty much that, the stress system from what i understood, if someone pulls out a weapon and points at you, the lower your stress level the lower the damage, and increases the higher your stress level is, meaning you have to run away from the person with the weapon so they don't inflict. They also explained there are safe areas with metal detectors that take away weapons, such as the mall, which is a great idea. My idea however, I don't see how it's similar to the stress system. The good and bad decisions stay with you until you serve time in jail, there is no damage reduction caused by "stress". With the metal detectors, it makes half my idea pointless because serial killers wouldn't be able to kill you in public places anyway. Although, there will be public areas that don't have metal detectors, so there's a possibility it can be useful, but the devs already have multiple ways to stop RDM.

THX for repping up the Q&A Video!

I was to lazy to ride it down myself :D

  9. 1. Where shall your character be spending the majority of it's time within?      Same as @KarMagick: In a Patrol Car

    2. What shall be your character's primary role within society?    A Police Officer that is liked by the Citizen and always willing to help.

    3. What shall be your character's secondary role(s) within society?    *No secound role*

    4. What appears to be a few short-term goals for one's character?

    • +Become a Seargent
    • +Get a house
    • +Get a pet (Dog or Cat)

    5. What is one's MAIN life-long goal within the game?

Being a Police Officer (Sorry if this isn't really interesting but it is just my life goal to be a police officer Reallife and In-game)

Not quite Noe. A karma system measures the behavior in game, such as those who decide to play as good characters and bad characters. But the system that the developers were talking about judges people who are disrespectful on microphone and the cops if they are corrupted.

That's not quiet right they are talking about a Stress System. Maybe you wanna look the Video again. Go to the Question: "What Systems do you have to prevent RDM?"

but wont it be a problem when the respawned victim will try to meta the crime scene by acting as some sort of witness or will NLR take care of that?

That would be a think that Admins would need to handle with punishments.

You can't really have a System that 100% stops people from breaking rules.

  12. I think this is pretty simular to the Stress System they talked about.

It also prevents people from RDMing so I don't see a need for this.

Here is the Q&A Video were they talked about it:

  13. Server won't be hosted by Asylum Entertainment more likely by companys like Nitrado, ZAP-Hosting, etc.

The price will change depending on how many slots you want.

I guess it will be around the same prizes that you pay for a ArmA 3 game server: 7$ = 10 Slots   up to 120$ = 200 Slots

*Keep in mind that this is only speculations because they haven't talked about that topic yet (At least I haven't found it)*
