    Q1- I'm not sure why you'd need a joystick to play a FPS RPG, There will be no aircraft in this game. There will however be support for steering wheels and other car controls.

    Q2- Yup, cops will be able to fine and send violators to jail.

    How about a avatar maker for the Identity Forums, sorta like the one yahoo uses. This could be useful to see how the player appears in roleplay situations.

    Forum users would still have the option to use an avatar of their own however this feature will encourage forum users to use a face avatar.

    Hunger is confirmed i believe, but it won't mean you have to eat every 5 minutes. You'll just have to eat say twice per day. I'm not sure about bladder.

    I believe that special events and such may be implemented. This may include something similar to what you are suggesting. One such special event that has been toyed is a zombie apocalypse event.

    Next Scenario: You are busking on the street with your guitar. A homeless near-nude man with a ukulele, harmonica and a drum between his legs turns up and starts to play. He begins to steal your crowd your have gathered.

    The idea is that each server has it's own in-game Wikipedia where history and events of the server was stored. In the wiki you would be able to find past governors, crime rates, demographics, timelines, geographic info, identity island history and pages for well known people and businesses, just like in real life. Of course players would be able to edit this meaning that this feature may be trolled occasionally, but admins would be able to reset the page to an older version.

    This feature probably wouldn't add much gameplay or roleplay points to the game but it could be a handy feature especially if you want trivia about your server.

    Do you think it would be likely that a civil revolt, revolution, civil war or war of independence would occur in Identity? I think it would be interesting what would happen, especially for the two latter, as separate groups and militias would arise -such as US loyalists and separatists- and fight for power. It'd be also interesting to what caused these events and how the government would deal with them. Political turmoil could also add to the roleplay of the game.
