  1. Hi everyone. I noticed in the new video that the only way to select colours on walls, ceilings, etc is to select it on the slider/ selector. While I think this is good, I think that there should be a Colour Palette selector as well. This means that you can get pre-selected colour schemes which are stylish and match.

  2. Hey again guys

Just wondering how renting and leasing would work. Like, will a player be able to become a landlord and rent the apartments/ shops to other players? Or will the server take care of being the land lord?

Also, would the land owners be able to become land developers and develop the shops/ house to increase value?

-It seems that there's more activity on the forums recently, which is very nice! :D-

  3. So, the flag would be a somewhat important part of Identity. It could appear on government buildings, peoples walls and properties, apparel, political campaigns and even on bumper stickers. Here are some ideas I have come up with; http://imgur.com/gallery/i6rnI

(St Ives ,Feilding, Kane, Lytton, etc, are just examples of what the flag could look like with the Island name on it)

EDIT: Btw the wavy lines represent the fact that it is an Island, 3 stars for the 3 main cities and colours because USA obviously. It's supposed to look a bit cheesy too, as in my opinion a lot of the states flags do ¬¬

Post your own flag ideas below!

  4. So after recently buying a locally made fizzy drink I thought, what if you can make your own food products to sell in Identity?

These would be things such as soda, burgers, hot dogs, etc, each made and customised by the player. By customised I mean the player can choose the effects of consuming the foodstuff, choose the labelling/ logo and choose flavouring/ ingredients.
This would add another level of realism to Identity's economics markets and can be a fun business to run. The player could even set up fast food joints to sell their products or even operate a hot dog stand or ice cream truck.

    -Just my 2 cents

  5. Great idea! I think I remember reading on their twitter a long time ago that they were gonna add some fish and reefs so players could scuba dive. So hopefully they're following through with this, and even adding sharks!

Now, is that to say we can only own a home in one of the 3 major cities? Or will there also be houses, apartments, condos, ect spread out in the countryside too?

Don't worry, there'll be houses everywhere; farms, huts, small towns etc. In one of the game play vids it shows a house in the middle of nowhere.

  7. I reckon i'd be cool if businesses could advertise their brand around the island. This would increase realism and immersion, as well as bringing in customers. This could happen in a few ways;

    • - Customised ads (ie; made by the player) which appear on billboards and walls (advertising space which may be rented/ brought), also could appear on the rear of a bus and inside the trains
    • - Player customised flyers, emails and catalogues which could be sent to residents and customers. These could contain upcoming sale deals and products
    • - Radio adverts recorded by the player, which play during the commercial break (could also be used on TV - if they're in Identity)

  8. Note; i'm taking this off a forum which has 10,000 monkeys, I've lowered this because that's a bit too much for our forum.

The aim of this game is to kill 500 monkeys in various ways starting from 500 and counting down till only one remains. Each reply on this thread equals one monkey death, you have to specify how the monkey dies.

    eg:
John: "The 500th monkey gets hit by a truck"
Jane: "The 499th monkey dies of AIDS"
Jeremy: "The 498th monkey dies in a mugging"

    I start

The 500th monkey dies because his parachute doesn't open
