Some games do have very small slots on console, but there are exceptions, M.A.G. being one of them, that had 256 players at one time, so the potential is there, server wise.

Only issue i see with console is server support, This game, with the map size and all the things you can do would need at least 200+ players... I don't even know if consoles would support such a mass number of players.

Other then that, I can see it being good on console.

Yeah exactly my point why I want to try and stop people tweeting about it until there is a answer if it would be even possible.

But guys, consoles CAN support 200 people as I said in an earlier post :P

Probably will be a lot with that but maybe it wont all be there because why would you have the lower tool for a race module.

Suspension can have quite an impact on handling etc, the fact that they are making a whole module just on racing I am hoping it will be very realistic, we'll just have to wait and see I guess :)

  3. So I have been here a few days now, thought I should introduce myself lol. I'm a 31 year old gamer living in Scotland, got a couple of small DayZ communities and a YouTube channel I mostly do guides on. I was looking for a new MMORPG as I have tried a few but none really gave me what I wanted, a realistic modern day scenario and to be honest I had just about given up on finding one when I remembered The Long Dark started out on Kickstarter so thought it was worth a shot, and that's when I first came across Identity.

It is honestly the type of game I have been searching for years for, I can't wait to get stuck in and will be adding it as one of the titles my clan plays so we should be getting a server at some point too.

Looking forward to making some new friends here also, and who knows, maybe we'll start that server together :)

  4. Sounds cool but I am not sure how much extra work that would be, if it was to slow the release down a lot then I'd say no but if it is relatively easy then it would certainly be something to remember the launch. Maybe for the full release though, when all the kinks are ironed out? Just a thought :)

I don't really know to think about this identity thing. I like Asylum  I feel like they know what they are doing but I feel like it could be an eternity of programming. I can imagine that Paratus took a similar amount of time developing asylum. With all the features i'm sure it took a very long time.

Making any game does take a while, but the devs have been working on it a while before it launched so fingers crossed we will see it early 2017 for beta, I think the founder option is a solid purchase, not that much and you get access to the modules as they are released too.

  6. Welcome Olly,

Have you given any thought to your playstyle, at least to start with I mean? Cop, criminal etc, what attracts you to the game most? :)

  7. I guess a lot of console gamers don't know about the differences really, they just see an awesome game and want to play it. I myself was a console gamer until last year and I didn't know anything about the limitations to be honest, all I saw was the graphics and for good graphics consoles are a lot cheaper and you don't need to know anything about computers to get one etc. Also consoles are a thing most young kids go for as they are easy to play to start with, my first console was the original NES playing titles such as Mario, Isolated Warrior and Double Dragon and it was awesome! Lol. Most kids from my generation were brought up with consoles as they were the new thing to have back then, so it's no surprise kids want to join in with their parents and the console continues on.

Some games do have very small slots on console, but there are exceptions, M.A.G. being one of them, that had 256 players at one time, so the potential is there, server wise.

Hi @MadMcardle thanks for the message.

That would be cool teaming up for sure, has any announcement been made when BETA access will be?

Hi @JamesLuck01, thanks for the advice I'm still deciding on which package to get, the options say the founder has beta access? is that incorrect?

Im so tempted to grab THE VIP package ?

No worries man, and Beta is aimed for early 2017 but the modules will be release before that, you can track their progress - http://www.identityrpg.com/info/modules/

    Hi All!!!

A quick Hello from me Dru.

Looking forward to playing this game, seems like the complete game to me can not wait. Any advice on which starter package to purchase as you guys have plenty more knowledge than me a NOOOB!!

    Thanks All, Peace!!

Welcome Dru, I am from the UK so we can always team up on a server together if you like. I would recommend getting the Founder package minimum, that way you will be able to play the modules before the beta test ;)

  10. When I saw the title I thought you were going to mean sign a waver to work for you in case I get shot or something lol.

Nice idea but could be a little boring as a job, unless a giant chicken outfit is involved then it's pure gold! :D

I know Doc but we are mere members of the community, it's isn't up to us to enforce them, that is what the moderators are for. I must say I like this rule especially -  7. Ask for Likes. Likes are given to those for contributing useful information in a discussion. Considering a lot of people do that too ;)

Well.... all im saying is that posts like this clutter the forums. Posts that have already been made that you could have used the search function for. Maybe you should use it and there wouldnt be anyone posting this on your posts. Its common sense and is also in rule 8....if you would have read them as well....

    8. Search for content related to your questions. There’s a good chance that there may already be an answer to what you are looking for!

I understand your point Herzog, honestly I do as I run two DayZ communities and get a lot of the same questions asked over and over again, but I always think, some people may not use forums as much as others and not know how to or not want to search through X amount of posts to find their answer, there will always be repeated questions, it's just one of those things. If it starts to get frustrating just take a step back and leave that post, like I said to James, you don't have to answer them :)
