  1. There are careers (and jobs) within Identity, but there isn't a "story" and "missions" like those of GTA V. This game is 100% player-controlled, so criminal neighborhoods will exist because a player made them that way. There will be gangs and bodyguards, but these are ALL real players. There will be NO npcs except for some shop clerks and stuff like that.

  2. Explain "story mode".

Besides that, there will be gyms, drug labs, and other things of the sort. Some helpful info about this can be found in the three links down below! :)

What happens when someone comes to you for information and you don't have any information on that particular group?
And when you do start leaking information over companies etc... players instinctively won't trust you because you're constantly sharing information that players want to be kept private.

You may be better off advertising yourself as a Private Investigator rather than a provider of information. That way information you track down can be presented, if you can't track any information down, you're still paid for the time invested into it. You'll just need to expand your network early on to get "informants" or sources of information.

Hey, nice idea! I can imagine it now - "Subway Investigation Services".

I'll be sure to dress like this - latest?cb=20150508032439 Thanks for the idea! :)

  4. You can have as many as you like wherever there is free space. Where free space would not be is wall sockets. Keep in mind, having too many could lag the game for whoever is present at/around your apartment.

  5. Remember, KyleLuke, game-development takes time. This is a MASSIVE game, possibly bigger (in content) than Fallout 4, and this very tiny team is doing EVERYTHING from scratch. Delays, different speeds in working, and not working at all are just part of the bumpy road of game-development. Believe me, ?????? ????????????? ???. are working as hard as they can to push a playable module, beta, and game out to you as quick as possible, without it being a pile of unplayable code.

what are you doing to be?

I will either own a store or provide information for every faction on the island. (Info on criminals for police, info on police for criminals, info on rival companies, etc.) I might do both! :)

My friend wants to be a drug dealer, grow weed, cook meth, and sell it, or a hitman. I however, would like to be a street racer, but in townsquare, I'd like to paint and write books.

Cool! I wish you luck in your endeavors. :)

do you think a HP Omen i7 gaming laptop can handle that?

I'm not into technical stuff, so I couldn't really say. Also, until later on when tests can be done, I do not think there will be an official answer. Please refer to the links down below for more information, or feel free to contact one of the staff for any questions you may have! :)

I agree with what's being said below. It makes me curious as how they're gonna pull it off. I mean, they can't enforce it that's not fair, people have lives. At the same time its like are we gonna have moments where there's 30+ illegals out and about with like 3 cops or? You know what I mean. It's easier to manage this for private servers, but for public I'm curious as to how they'll address that.

I would imagine there would always be 10+ police working at any given hour (considering the size of the server).

  10. Your apartment will transfer, but not your house. However, furniture will transfer from your house. Your character's information will transfer, also. Clothes and other items like that will transfer. Asylum Entertainment, at this moment, is unsure about money transferring and is leaning towards not including this. Keep in mind that all of this applies to official servers ONLY.

For more information, please refer to the links down below.

  11. I believe it has to do with the type of platform this forum uses. It uses Invision Community, a fairly popular platform used by SecondLife and other forums. I do not think that Asylum Entertainment has control over this issue.
