I remember reading zip ties will be a thing for criminals.

    "Did you get the handcuffs?"

    "Nah, zipties were 20% off."

Zipties are about the best replacement they could have thought off :D

  2. How about news magazines? Since player-written books are already confirmed, somebody writing a weekly report would be awesome! I just have heard of a library, which sound like a take-books-for-free place, but selling them at a kiosk would be nice. I hope you can design the books at least a little.

Well, prison time is a playable time, so I don't see any reason why criminals wouldn't have to go through it... It's not like a temporary ban or such.

Giving this a second thought you are probalby right. This maybe even stops some users from comitting a crime in the first place.

  4. How about time just passing slower when offline (like 20x as much, so you had to be offline for 9 hrs to get rid of it). And when online you just had to wait and waste your time by socializing with others for 45 mins.

  5. How is the financial situation. Is says that about 750k+ were raised. Is this including kickstarter (I'd guess so)?

Furthermore, if the average salary of a programmer is ~60k and of a graphics designer ~40k (according to payscale.com 24/09/17), how long will they be able to continue? I have no experiance with in-depth financial business, but I think the budget looks kinda thight, especially over such a long period of time.

  6. Imagine the following: At the beginning inveting in already very organized groups would be the way to go. Optimal, if there are close to none competitiors. Ofc the worth of the company will rise, so it is like easy profit. We would also need enough people buying/selling stocks, so the whole system doesen't crash. I personally think a stock market would be great, but added in a more developed stage of the game. This way the devs are able to see if this whole thing would work.

However, on private servers, you can have a lengthy "immigration" process and whitelist people.

This immigration kinda thingy is probably the best way to go. This way, a big part of people trying to rig votings are already giving up on doing so. How about "your account had to exist for xx time and has to have yy hours of gameplay on record" (I know the grammer was weak with this one).
