Looking forward to having some massive fun on the game and hoping optimization is going to be a thig fast as I am a streamer with a not so great computer that need as much optimization as possible. Anyway, can't wait for the game!!
Welcome on this forums! I hope you'll have fun here while the game is in preparation, and if you have any question, be sure to ask me or the moderation team

Since everyone seems to have misunderstood my last post, I'll try and make it a little clearer.
They promised it would be announced this month, and the month isn't over. I'm just asking them not to release this date too early on because some members understood "release on October the first" instead of "not after Halloween". I believe they'll be announcing the date this month, maybe on October the 31st itself, but I also believe they should announce it when they're READY, not when the community believes them to be ready.

At least I hope the devs aren't listening too much to the ones who urge them to release this date...

Garry's Mod is a sandbox game, and some people made RP games from it... But in those, everything from teachers to cops is a complete mess ^^

Welcome to Garry's Mod RP then

@Xzothi People don't get how hard it is to make game mechanics come together, they often just think that it's the dev's duty to make it work, and you can't really blame them for that

Although - if this is a feature, a good way to go about it would be detectives finding shells on the ground of a certain caliber, or a piece of clothing, something that you can compare and contrast rather than run it on a DNA scanner and getting a result.
As they say in Narcos, "Criminals always need to be lucky, when we just need to be lucky once".

I would find that quite annoying myself.

Yeah, I'm running GTA V at 120fps but my computer can't handle BMX The Game, an old kickstarter project... Really, it'll depend on the optimization job

The houses / apartments are "half instanced" and so you won't see a loading screen but also with the apartments, you go up the elevator you seamlessly load in. With houses, you do sort of the same thing, you open the door and walk in without a loading screen (seamless) and you will be in another instance meaning you cannot see outside cars going by or such.
Yeah, GTA IV was already working that way

Oh my bad. You will most likely have to make an application after your character creation

And as long as you have the choice, everybody is happy!

That sums it up for me too

11 minutes ago, Dimmies said:Agreed! I very highly doubt that there wont be a revive system, maybe more or less being knocked unconscious and needing medical treatment rather than dying and needing resuscitation.
I think you will die and revive, and that there will only be a small window for medical assistance

Wow, that indeed brings back memories (of when I wasn't on the forums, but still, I always was overwatching è.é)

8 minutes ago, Dimmies said:Interesting question, I'm sure the Police and EMS will need to work together to figure out the cause of death and take action, but I would also like to know if there would be a system in place to kind of help the process along? Great question!
*ahem ahem* yeah, I always come up with great questions!
Joking aside, having the ability to revive will make things differ from the real world by itself, and handling it logically will be a harsh task for the poor dev team
I'm sure they'll succeed though!

You're speaking as if you were an old-timer to everyone

I might have said it in a misleading way, but I really was sarcastic. The search bar of course is an essential feature, and I reacted this way because not many people tend to use it :-|

Oh, now that you mention it... ^^

https://kotaku.com/5068797/is-this-why-fallout-3-wont-be-released-in-india
Fallout 3 : Originally banned due to drug use related to incentives and rewards.
Edited worldwide due to the small change needed (the name of morphine was changed to Med-X)saintsrows : Banned because of illicit drug use related to incentives and rewards and visual depictions of implied sexual violence that are not justified by context. An appeal was lodged, but failed.
An edited version was released lacking said content.it happens to AAA it happens to indie games it happens to everyone and especially since they dont want to rate it its gonna be hard to get a worldwide release now i have no problem with it the Canadian market dont give a fuck about gore and drugs and stuff but alot of other countries take it super seriously
Ahhh, those Aussies... I hope they'll see the good sides of this game more than the seemingly bad ones
