    Just like the updates we were supposed to get exactly one year ago? i know at this time last year i was looking forward for an update where we could use the police station and actually use guns, together with some other updates. Never came LOL

    We're still at it, but development is much slower than we'd like it to be for financial reasons. The income we're receiving currently simply isn't enough to employ many working hours. The developers all have families, so they can't work for free (understandable for any developer with experience). While we're moving along slowly, there will be an update very soon with systems that were needed for combat/SWAT, mainly player movement mechanics and animation. What we have in Town Square now was just too clunky for good combat. Because the pace is so slow right now, we're looking into other development sources, too.
     
     
     
     
    I plan on putting out a lot of information with the coming update, but if you guys have questions.. fire away. 
     
     
    I've been ridiculously busy, but I'm going to make it a point to poke my head in here more often.

    If you go look in the reviews on steam, its pretty self explanatory.

     

    dont forget that we would be able to shoot guns ourselves for over 6 MONTHS right now, a few months ago we got a video about shooting, again claiming we will be able to shoot "soon", we still can t shoot

    FYI There are many games out there. I don't understand how people can obsess over one game. I think people just like to complain in blog posts for the frick of it. I'm sure their motives will not be truly expressed and instead will cling on to statements such as "we were promised this" and "the devs said that" or "this date and and that date", maybe even going as far as "no work has been done there is no progress blah, blah, blah." Nonsense all of it really. The proof is in the pudding, but acknowledging the facts and embracing the truth, which is that this dev team has done what other teams wont, and that is being transparent as much as possible, acknowledging this will leave them with no argument to make, so people like shadow90210 and others will just ignore them and post their ramblings. I for one am done engaging with such immature behavior. Good luck Community Moderators, and Godspeed.

    because that pretty much shows that they indeed are working on the SWAT module. and yes, the development of the other modules will go faster, but you have to hold into account that they have both fulltime devs and freelancers. so they dont always have the same amount of developers which has an impact on the time. plus we aren't even a year away and they are already showing us the gun physics.

    if you were to look at the last thread speaking about this you would notice that we didn't just lock it. we were asked questions, we answered those questions, and we just got asked the exact same questions again. the thread went out of hand and that is why we locked it. "freedom of speech" also doesnt apply to forums.

    again, we dont just lock threads right away.

     

    why do u think they made the gun video? we were supposed to be able to try guns out "soon" MORE THAN HALF A YEAR AGO. now they could not make that true, so they gave us a video 2 months ago. still cant try out the guns ourselves now, probably will still take aloot of time. but hey, we all know asylum their "soon"

    LMAO guns were supposed to be in TS, announced by the devs OVER 6 MONTHS AGO!! they are saying for over 6 months that we'd be able to try em out ourselves SOON. now 2 months ago or so we has a video about it but still no guns.

    you just not informed correctly, they re made TS 3 times, fired and hired new people because the quality of the game was not on point , thats one reason why they had to restart ts.

    there were a few new "playable" functions, more coming soon. you can also use some shops to buy things, so i dont really get your point here.

    To answer the topic question:

    I dont play anymore really, but i keep following the development, im so excited for the full game! i'll play when new updates and content are out, i check every update ingame ;D But you know what? it doens't matter that people aren't playing right now! TS was meant to give us a first view of the game so we can see what to expect, what we can do etc. And they did just that! If you're hating because TS is small, hasnt got much content etc, get over it! it s meant to be that way! It s not meant to be a full game where people keep playing for weeks and weeks!

    Well since u were gone u kind of missed al the problems haha, they have been pushing out updates very well and alot of bugs are already fixed and the game is pretty proper playable right now. it's still got some bugs and glitches but they are still fixing stuff. Be happy u missed the buggy launch and enjoy the game now ; D

    probably, but that's not good at all, they used to release dev blogs somewhat at the beginning of the month. They said the dev blogs would stop and they would bring identity insiders, but i don't see them coming

    Do you seriously expect the artists to sit around and do nothing all day while the programmers do their job, just to make you happy?

    They're not charging you jack shit. You freely choose to pledge, and in return are given access, and a copy to the game.
    And if that's a days salary for you, then perhaps you should reconsider where you spend your money.
    Literally no one is forcing you to pledge into the development.

     

    uhmm, he meant the CARS cost a whole day salary, and he is right with that! To me the prices for appartments, cars are just ridiculous x D

    Ya, maybe town square is small n' Probably not much to do; but like I said there's only a few Dev's Which makes it more difficult and also they are trying to make Clothing, hats, hair styles, shoes, pants, etc; to make characters more personalized, Creating Assets Takes a lot of time.

    Shoot for the stars and Follow your dreams, Be creative and have an Open Mind.

    Also, 1 More task needs to be completed then its off to Steam Verification.
    Fingers crossed for at least Late September, Early October. Estimations aren't Smart but I have Wishful thinking :)

     

    if they need time till late september , early october to complete this one task, they have literally been working 2+ months on that one task, doesn't that sound ridiculous?

    i agree! in the beginning i also recommended this game to my friends, one friend even pledged! but now, i would NOT recommend the game at all, because of all these flaws.

    What about the dev blog? is it coming in september, together with the dev blog from september? is it maybe coming in october? 

    what about that ONE TASK of coding, it takes a month to get one problem solved?? i understand that making a game takes long, but taking a month to get one thing correct and get all the bugs out? wow!

    i am really really losing sympathy for this game, and that sucks because i was really hyped for the game but that is really dying down now, and im 100% sure i am not the only person who has this feeling!
