I was actually wondering yesterday about this question, and now I decided to ask on here, 'cause I can see the logic on both sides of the answer, but are still wondering what the excact answer is/would be.

We're going to have cars, and we're going to have player roles as police, so I was wondering, do you have to stop for traffic lights, as a citizen?

On one side, the police will have a lot to do all the time, and will always kept busy with atleast something, if they have to stop citizens running the red light. But on the other hand, it will maybe be too much, when they also have to catch thiefs from robberies etc. So do we know if you have to stop for red light, or if you just gonna do the same as you do in GTA V, says "Fuck it" and cross it? xD

There are rules and some community roads might have their own rules (like maybe having to drive in first-person view).

that would be amazing to find out exactly how the packs work when it comes to them. im so use to apartments being something you rent where people don't own them, and a condo being something you buy ( since i own one in real life lol)

On the stream today someone said that the starter pack apartments are apartments you own.

Sweet I've always wanted a condo. I'm used to owning an apartment and renting a condo because when my mom goes to the beach we rent a condo and my dad live's in an apartment (he rents it but it still feels like he owns it).

Hi! So I saw that housing will be in the Town Square module.

Will I need to purchase tier "5" Homeowner to experience housing? I only have the Cabbie pledge Tier 3

    Thanks :)

The homeowner and biker packages have a studio apartment, the up-sized package has a one bedroom apartment, the speed demon package has a luxury one bedroom apartment, and the vip package has a two bedroom apartment. You don't have to buy any of these packages to get an apartment in the game (none of the packages have houses) you can make money in-game and use it to buy a house or an apartment. These are just starters packs to help you start out in the game.

I guess the beginning would be very bloody, if a troller gets a gun it will be totally chaos. I hope the police will lock m up!

The devs are putting in a "stress system" to discourage RDMing. Basically the way it works is you have a stress bar and the lower it is, the less damage you will take from weapons. So if you are walking down the streets and everything is fine, your stress bar will be low and someone who comes by and tries to randomly kill you will not do much damage.

The module is still in development. as you see here (http://www.identityrpg.com/info/modules/townsquare/) at the very bottom it shows roughly how close it is to finishing.. It's been at 89% for a while so expect a boost soon!

The progress bar has been at 89% for a while but I wouldn't expect it to release for another month. It will take a while and the devs said this was going to probably be the longest wait.

  7. Well since the game will be a player-run game, I would assume that you would have to sell to real players (The only AI the game will have will be doing things like standing behinds desks or counters and giving information or other boring things). The devs aren't trying to make everything easy. They want things to realistic, like business. In real life, if you have a lot of fish, they aren't all going to automatically sell at once when you put them up for sale, you have to wait for people to come by and buy them.

  8. Well there has been a lot of things said about the Town Square module regarding how long it will take to release. We shouldn't expect it to come soon because the devs said the Town Square module would be the longest wait. If everyone keeps saying its coming soon, it's just going to put more pressure on the devs because they are working hard to make this first impression a good one. Just be patient and play some other game like arma or csgo, whatever you like.

Lets get into the point for one time please everyone lets come together and disscuss something that will be an important core in identity and our society. Crimes in real life are scary as hell, pretty much you will spend years in a locker thats where you really need to be scared of. Guys Crime in this game need to be strict for Law officers and Criminals.

Example if a crime was held on a park of a dead player the scence need to be bloody and scary for the detectives and cops who are assigned to that mission. it needs to be like a slaughter house feeling in Resident evil 7. it has too be.

Example for criminals who will get really ***** if they got caught and cops are now man hunting him. we need to make the player feels like he really made a crime just like in real life we need to make him Go Crazy and scared also frustrated of what's going to happen to him after he get arrested or shot by police.

if we want to minimize crime in identity it needs to be scary 2 both devisions cops and crooks.

I've heard that you could go to jail in the game and you would have to stay active there for a certain amount of time like 1 hour. If you go afk, your jail time will pause and resume when you get back on so you feel like you're being punished.
