@crowe864 - whilst I completely agree with everything you've aforementioned, we've got to bare in mind that this is a game. There will be younger players who wish to play as police officers which is fair enough; it's a video game.

In terms of 'command structure' though, I'll openly admit that I'm against being under someone who isn't too educated on LE procedure, R&R's etc (this includes younger players as well as older ones). As far as I'm concerned, if younger players can learn how to do stuff to a good standard and fit in with everyone else then there's no real issue with them being a police officer. However, seeing them in a commanding role wouldn't do anyone any favours.

Changing the conversation a little here, what is the plan for the youngers? I've seen that there's no age limit on the police department meaning anyone can hop in and play however let's be real - is an 18+ year old going to stand there and listen to a 14/15 year old cop? Chances are that's not gonna happen. Obviously it would make sense for them to listen however people don't take time out of their day to listen to a squeaky kid over the internet.

Well i think there is a procedure, to go through to be a cop, hopefully that brings some actions, which a 13 year old would fail to do as good as an 18+ old.

  2. I like this.....and ofcourse we will have some journalists in the game, who will be out in their van as fast as possible when something happens, and then get it in the papers :)

I agree with capped, player driven articles would be so much fun and it will give some cool stories, based on everyday events in the identity world. Things happpens without the paper knows it in the real world, let it be also in identity. A secret kill inside two mafia gangs, who got rid of the body, let it forever be a secret, because no journalists or witnesses knew about it. But maybe insider information, can leak or exposure this event ;)

  3. Welcome Tanner
I am very excited as you are. Looking forward to see you in game.

about the toxic community and cheaters, i think this will be different. Based on people in here, i can tell it will be something special, and we have the change to set a culture from the beginning. I think some of the game mechanics also would make it a tough life in identity if you cheat or being toxic. It is all about the culture we make from the beginning, and it really can be special with some good roleplay also. I am excited. See you in there!

  4. I dont know why you say goodbye....I say......

Hello, I am new in this identity world. I love open world games, with social interaction, so this is just perfect.
I am very inspired by the world of darkness. One of my favourite games is Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, for its social interaction and progress trees. I am very inspired by the world of darkness universe, and pumped for the upcoming openworld games inspired by that. Then i found this game and got very hyped, because it was something else, but with the same mechanics. Social interaction in an openworld setting with real players; Living their lives. I am really looking forward to meet you all in town square.
