To clarify more of what @Joshua_Else means or may have miss said.

Modules will not be on steam, Modules are like alpha stages; Beta will neither be on steam and also there will be NO Steam Early Access (Like conan Exiles) This game will only be on steam for Full release.

If you buy the citizen package (passport = full game at steam), $30 = Modules, Beta and then steam release full game.

Anything above $30 includes the same as the $30 tier and extra in-game stuff.

These packages likely are not to be on steam and only the game with no extras (My opinion) and I could be wrong about that.

The Modules and Beta will be downloaded via the website and launched by a external client!

Thank you for making it clearer what I meant.

I didn't entirely know how to explain it.

    Thanks

So, I just bought my passport a few days ago and I have a question. I do apologize if this has been asked recently. Have there been any updates as to the release of the 1st module that was maybe on a podcast or something that I didn't hear or see? I've noticed that it's been at 76% for some time now and I'm just wondering how soon that number may move.

    Thanks in advance.

You are correct that the game progress hasn't moved in a while however this is mainly down to the fact that the team working on the game are very small.

Regarding informative podcasts, you can just search youtube or similar platforms as they will have all published content on there.

    Hope this helps. :)

Hi fellow community im new here and are in two minds of purchasing the game at this very moment in time as im wondering if this game will be getting a steam release as Early Access or if i was to purchase via the website will a steam key be sent out to activate the game on Steam?

BTW i love the look of this game and seems very very interesting TOP job devs <3

    many thanks

    Steve

From what I have gathered, if you buy the game on this website you get the game once it is released along with early access to the modules.

    Hope this helps.

Plus the price will sky rocket once the first module is released so is best to buy it now.

ah I may have confused you with them whoops

    That is fine thanks anyways.

Also I was wondering if anyone knew how the police ranking system is going to work as I myself would love to become the police commissioner/chief.

I'm sure once the beta is released, they'll work on more detailed aspects of the game. They plan to update it a lot so I'm hopeful they'll add more customization later! :D

    Great and thanks again

You aren't able to import any pre-drawn things into the game, as there will be an in-game creator for designs. Apparently, the Q&A with Powergaming7 goes into depth about creating content so maybe you could check that video ! As far as shops go, I remember seeing a tweet that actual shops won't be very customizable, as you will only be able to decide a theme for the shop and the merchandise sold. Hope this helped! ^_^

Oh ok, thanks for the help.

Quite disappointing however, I hope in the future the developers decide to provide more customization.

  8. Hi,

I have started thinking about what I want to do once the game is released and I have decided that I would like to start up a shop in-game.

However, I was wondering if anyone knew what the limits were of the game. As I pride myself on my 3D drawing ability and would love to be able to make my drawings come to life in-game.

So, I was wondering if anyone knew what the limits would be to shop's in game.

    Thanks

I believe since no players will be guarding the prisoners NPCs should guard and patrol the prison so players can't just break out instantly and go kill more people or commit more crimes add npc guards which can somehow stop the player from succeeding in escaping when caught making suspicious activity, maybe you go to solitary confinement.

I think it would be cool if there were some NPC guards who you could bribe and get contraband from. A dirty guard. This would also be cool if you could become a dirty cop within the world.

  10. I think this would be cool in some ways and bad in others.

I mean it would mean you actually have to get money regularly however it would be horrible if you fitted out your apartment and then for it to be all erased because you missed one payment.

However they could do it so that it is judged on a case by case basis. By the court.

We will see however, I am sure no matter what it will be done to keep the game enjoyable and fair.

  11. I think there will be.

I heard it in a Q&A they did and they said there would be.

And the game is trying it's best to imitate life so I don't see why there wouldn't be

    @greyisme

Driving license is a thing already. You don't need one to drive but if you get caught without one then you will be arrested or fined etc.

If people disobey the traffic laws then they will get fined, or if they do it so many times will get maybe a prison sentence or driving license revoked.

People have to follow the traffic laws otherwise they will lose a great deal of money especially that they will payout for wrecking there own car. There will always be the idiot drivers on the road but they will just get caught eventually.

Also could you invite me to discord?!

Thank you for clearing that up for me

  14. I believe this could be an issue however I believe the developers will come up with some sort of system to restrict a user from buying any more than a couple of personal property's, if not only 1.

However, I do believe most houses will be sold by players anyways as the whole point of the game is not to have NPC's do everything.

I am sure the developers will come up with something before release, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Alright, so Im not sure if this has been discussed previously in the forums because I could not find anything about it, but the question is:

So, how will this game and its the whole role playing system ensure the well driving of others?

Or in other words because Im not sure if I'm making any sense: How will this game or what system/law will be implemented so that people don't drive in to each other/ people/ and cars in the game?

Im just wondering because in GTA its fairly easy to drive into another car/person etc, Im just wondering how well enforced it will be in identity and if it is even controllable.

I think this will be a big issue with the developers before release however as they have said before, cars will take damage like real cars, they will drive like real cars and handle like real cars.

So the real damage thing might deter you from wrecking your car in the progress.

And of the player can't drive then the police could always arrest them.

However I think people should have to go and get a drivers lisence car like in real life. This would ensure everyone knows how to drive.
