Idk. One year seems like a long, long time for a gamer. I kinda like the idea though.
I remember reading a YouTube comment reply from the Devs about housing. If inactive for a month or X amount of time, you lose your home. Could be the same for stuff and other property.
Great idea nonetheless, gotta work out some kinks.
