Man personally I love RPing. Grew up on it, taught me some values, i.e. leadership, communication, respect. But this was on GTA SA-MP, like 1000+ hours of it, and it was all text. But It'll be curious to see how VOIP will change the RP feel. I'm sure if there's a tightly knit community, i.e. the cops, or a certain gang/mafia, etc. Will have a TS server that they'll be in OOCly and when the time comes to RP then you can just switch to VOIP. I'm gonna try my hardest to RP as much as possible, no matter how awkward it gets. And if someone thinks I'm making a fool of myself, then I'll just walk away cause I don't need that shiznit.

Well you can always get some practice on Asylums Altis Life servers for Arma. But just a heads up, its casual RP with a focus on gunplay. So it won't be as great as some RP servers, but there is a reason why Asylum Altis Life servers have been the number 1 servers for about 2 years now.

  2. Well Paypal is ideal, but the reason most companies use cards like said in OP is another marketing strategy. People see the cards and get interested what they are for, and in turn, will research the game.

So Paypal is always an obvious choice, but when researching a marketing move, the cards isn't a bad idea in theory.

That was a bad example; I was just asking if someone else could enter the same pin and enter your bank account :(

Alright fair enough. In the aspect of real life, it would fit right in. But I have feeling the potential chance of a player quitting because of it would make them very hesitant on it.

If it is like entering your PIN and say you have a friend who needs to borrow money could you be able to give them your PIN and have them log into the account as well?

Or you could just wire the money to him :D

also the map is not as big as Arma 3 then because that is 270... Too me this seems small, specially when only one person can own a house at any given time, being small limits MASSIVELY, so most people spend time finding a server they can have a house on. Personally I think it should be bigger and with actual cities (not like 5 streets like most games) to arrange meets or car meets etc

That map is smaller than Altis on Arma, but about 90% of Altis is barren wilderness. This map or island, will have 1 major city, which will be bigger than Kavala (Altis biggest city). On top of that, there will be Apt buildings that will house more people than it would appear (because going into your house won't be open world, similar to GTAV). That is different in the aspect of Altis Life, where only one owner would own that home. Now with the homes that are isolated, I would assume those houses would only host one owner. Otherwise that could get really goofy meeting someone randomly at your doorstep haha

I hope not. We don't need more cops that citizens. I hope they have strict standards on who gets to wear the (virtual) shield.

I have the same concern, because we do see it on Arma Altis Life. Full server, very few officers or Empty server, lots of officers online.

Maybe there will be some implementation on how that will work (public servers), but I know they don't want to eliminate someones way of playing the game, the way that player wants too (i.e. Full capacity of cops online, player logs on and wants to play cop, but can't bc full capacity, logs off and QQ). So with that being said, I am really not sure if they will be able to implement such a thing, but hey, I could always be wrong.

Private servers, on the other hand, will easily be able to implement rules and limitations to such things.

Oh yeah, that's very likely. :D I just thought it's stamina like "You have to sleep for X time or disadvantages" or "You have disadvantages when you play for too long" (freaking hate stamina systems in games). Totally blocked out the running part lol.

Dont worry, I will forgive you this ONE time...and one time only :-P

  8. That tweet is only reflecting energy towards sleep. I am almost certain there will be some sort of endurance when it comes to running (i.e. turns into a jog, affects weapon sway).

Why cant pets roam outside that makes no sense

Because you are asking for more unnecessary stress on the servers. I think everyone would rather have a smooth game with their pets being inside their homes than having a laggy/dsyncy game where they can walk their dogs.

I'd rather see it be manually done.  Maybe there could be Sheriff agencies in multiple areas and to join them all you simply would need to do is apply and go through the training they setup.

Private Servers they will be able to set up a bunch of different aspects and trainings for one to be 'white-listed'. However, in the public servers, it has to work a bit differently.

  11. It will be completely Open World.

Homes/Apts won't be as well as a few others, such as prisons/jails.

I am sure there will be a few shops that will result in a load screen (thinking like GTAV style i.e. vehicle customization) but i do believe most shops are still open world.

  12. I am assuming pets will be in house only. Pretty sure it would cause hell of lag/dsync if everyone let their pets roam around with them outside their homes.
