In my opinion, the whole project is a patience project. The team is working very hard to make this game and I personally believe they aren't going to scam us or any of that because if they did the whole Asylum community would face backlash and it just wouldn't make sense. To summarize though small team + big idea for a game = Long wait.

I don't think they ever intended for this game to be bad, never said that, I had plenty of hope in the game but after the release I've lost any sort of hope I had, I really do hope they make the game they want, but with this I don't think it's possible.

  2. This isn't a hate post, but with the recent disaster with identity what is going through the minds of the people still defending this game? I get that it's the first module but they've also had 4 years for this first module and it's honestly the biggest disappointment this year imo. The assets are pretty i'll give it that, but the core gameplay and just bugs it's not good. Give me a reason to have hope in this game.

    1) dev blogs come monthly, it’s only the 6th

    2) There is and hasn’t been a set release date for a few months now

    3) With all the streams and the office and more, it’s not like they’re just sitting they’re. They’re working on the game.

    4) It is not a scam and nobody is forcing anyone to pledge money for development funding.

*Last devblog jul 10th, steam key doesn't count because it is not a dev blog.*

They released a shitty tracker for their development which has one bug that hasn't been fixed for months now

I've only tuned into a few streams and all were assets, not any gameplay.

Scam or not scam, never buying anything from these guys even though I used to be a full supporter of asylum, but now I'm pretty peeved and got refunded asap. If the game turns out good then good job, i'll pay full price, but with all of the delays and only shitty gameplay being shown for 3 years of work (3 intractable objects with a ton of bugs FOR THE BASE MODULE and to think they're working on others I just can't imagine how shitty everything else is) I've given up on this game, no trust in it anymore.

  4. I've been following the development for about 2 years now and quite recently got a refund while I could. I've gotten used to the delays and it's just not worth my time anymore.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming zombie survival game "Survive the nights?" My opinion it looks like it'll be really cool :P especially with some of the new gameplay stuff  they've shown :D although I'd much rather wait til more gameplay videos come out before even thinking about buying it haha

    ( -> 14 minutes of gameplay )

I enjoyed building the car the most. Reading your review, you might enjoy this:

Just had a look at your library and saw you do not own Subnautica yet. If this game were multiplayer, it would be on of the top five games I've ever played.

that video is just amazing, I love subnautica even though i'm terrified of the ocean lol, thanks for the suggestions/recommendation! that's probably what i'm gonna get haha

Well there's a lot of good casual games out there, so without any further input on your behalf it's a bit hard to give a recommendation.
This is a game I've really enjoyed, because despite the rough looks it's got gameplay spot on.

I love that game :P Not really a car expert but i loved drinking and driving and seeing what trouble I could get myself into (my review -> http://steamcommunity.com/id/offishl/recommended/516750 )

  8. So I started thinking about underwater exploration and decided "hey.. wouldn't it be cool to see Aquatic life in the water?" Like going somewhere in the ocean and having this big great white just attack your boat or just being able to explore the reefs and seeing all of the fish

I'm just so in love with underwater stuff it would be so cool to see that implemented into Identity.

  9. So I was talking to a buddy and was introducing him to Identity and I told him about how the computers would be interactive and that cool stuff, He then brought up an idea that actually had me interested, Which of course was the idea of the deep web which a player would be able to make their own page in the Deep Web. I feel like it would be a great addition to crime and other sorts of stuff, like gun deals, buying drugs, etc. But if it were to be added it shouldn't be easy to get to, like pay for a certain program (With in-game cash) to install into the computer to let you access the Deep Web. How do you guys think of this?
