    Hello

How can i start any job?

Currently as it stands, there are no jobs or careers, or even an economy in the town square, as thats all it is right now. When the beta releases, they will have set jobs you can go and start working.
As far as creating your own job, that would be more on the role-playing side of things.

Jesus the detail on this is outstanding. And my God that bedroom/ apartment looks so damn classy.

Honestly man have to say when I eventually get to play identity I'm going to look forward to this a lot.

Is there a specific thread where people post their apartment designs for players such as me to drool over 😂😂

Anywhere in the town square thread really and this thread has some apartments people showed off

Is that now where you go in the lift and search your name and it will take me to my one bedroom apartment instead of a studio

Yes, your name will already be highlighted. When you hit ‘Search’ IF YOU PLEDGED FOR MORE THAN A STUDIO it will pull up 2 room numbers. If you DID NOT PLEDGE any apartment, you will be taken to a studio apartment. If you did not pledge for anything other than a studio apartment you will not be able to decorate anything other than a studio apartment.

Hey guys! While we wait out the last stretch for the Town Square module, I thought it'd be fun to hear about your favorite newly released games of 2018. Or, if you don't have an outlying favorite, then maybe a game that you weren't expecting to be great but you actually enjoyed!

For me, Detroit: Become Human pretty much took over my life this year, I loved it so much I kept going back and replaying to see all of the different endings I could get! It was super interactive and the characters were great.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is also incredibly amazing (have you seen the graphics yet??!), but I just purchased it and haven't gotten that far yet so I had to go with D:BH.

Let me know what game you enjoyed the most this year!

I liked Red dead 2. Also enjoyed South Park: The Fractured But Whole. Black Ops 4 was okay but I got burnt out on it pretty fast. And have been debating getting Battlefield V, I played the beta and really enjoyed it but haven't because I get some heavy Battlefield 1 vibes.

Everyones skin is yellow (For white skin people) and red (For black skin people) plus everything is so colourful after the update... Is this supposed to be happening?

Yeah they heard about that as soon as the patch came out. It wouldn't hurt to drop a bug report here:

and if you have a screenshot, post a link to it as well. :)

I've got a cherry cubboard that I can't select to rotate and I can't get rid of it. Any thoughts?

Uhhh yeah, I have a oak-wood wardrobe that seems like it's bolted to my floor in the corner of my room. Lol.
Some items are having issues, picking them up, deleting them. My suggestion would be take a pic of the item that's stuck and report it along with the screenshot so they can take a look at it. I noticed one other user had this issue as well. So I'm sure theirs more.

Well if it was legal it would reduce crime rate because if it was illegal people would get charged for having it, smoking it, or distribution. If it was legal there would be no laws against it and will reduce the crime rate.

Not if restrictions are in place.
There would be laws for it in place as there are laws for it in place in many states in the U.S.
For someone without medical problems, it's legal to smoke it in certain states, but you can't just go around smoking it in public, that's like taking a bottle of vodka around and taking shots, it's just not legal in public like that lol.

    I have 3 questions that I was  hoping you could help me with;

    1) If I would like to buy a larger apartment, would I still pay full price or have my current apartment's cost deducted?

EG; One Bedroom to a Two bedroom - Two bedroom = $200

Is it still $200 or would I only pay $100?

    2) As Identity expands beyond Town Square into the world, how complex will our interactions be with that world, specifically related to weather?

I'm a huge fan of Extreme Weather and Stormchasing, so I  would love to see Thunderstorms or Tornadoes on the plains and other types of occurrences like that sweep across the landscape!

    3) And if there is weather like this, would the damage they cause to the world be only temporary or would it be constantly there until it's repaired?

EG; Telephone/Power Lines are downed in a storm and make a road impassable to normal traffic, temporarily cutting off normal traffic along that road until Utility Crews or Players themselves clear and repair the damage?

    4) Will our vehicles be able to be customized/upgraded and how will they react to the environment?

EG; Would I be able to eventually go Off-Roading and modify my vehicle with better equipment for such an activity?

And when I'm tired of getting my vehicle all muddy and dirty/dinged up, could I take it back to my garage or into a Town with a Car Wash or Auto Body to clean the mud off and fix it up?

    5) Will we eventually be able to have our own maps of the world like the one on the wall in the Police Station's Lobby?

    6) You mentioned that eventually there would be houses, and that these would be a limited aspect as opposed to our Apartments.

Therefore, would we only be able to purchase houses with money we have earned through work in-game?

Or would anyone just be able to Sign In, put money in their account via Paypal and buy a house like that?

I hope you can clear some of these up for Me, thanks!

Upgrading from Package to package I believe gives you a discount, that may need clarifying. Weather will be in game but not to the extreme you're thinking. With things like "power lines being down" or "Roads becoming impassable" could turn players off of the game, or you could run into the issue of not enough players to repair issues like that, with the amount of people online (Servers will hold ~300-500). Private servers could have these, depending on the server developer.
Vehicles will be repairable and fixable, also will be insured as well as car washes around the map.
So far you can only purchase apartments, as for how to acquire them, they may add them to the shop later when that comes available, but the prices for the houses will more than likely be very expensive in terms of IRL money (Just look at how much the penthouse costs).

Thanks!! I figured it out right after I asked you..haha....Are you able to interact with any of your items?

    You're welcome :D
At the moment, no. They have disabled some of those options because some of the code needs to be refactored in order to work properly. You can paint on canvas' on the easel in your apartment, it is buggy so be warned lol. We will soon be able to turn on the tv's, sit on furniture, etc. Some of the lamps and lights are buggy as well - they may or may not plug into the wall outlets. And you can turn on/off the lights.
