    no, its not what you think. Its only cheaper because you already have the package and if you were to gift it to a friend, you can at a discounted price - these prices are only temporary and the prices will increase within a few weeks. If you didn't have the speed demon package, it would be back to full price. Just log out of your account and check again, you'll know what I mean

    Not many game developers release their game in modules. Most release their full game while its in alpha/beta stage. Identity is no where near a full game yet. If they were to release the game in early access right now, do you know how many negative reviews it would get. It would be called a broken game and it would permanently damage the game's reputation. The game is not even in alpha. 

    Also, if you put the game in early access it would be available to everyone and they want the modules to only be available to those who have backed or pledged the game. They will probably put the game in early access once all the modules are done and have the beta going.

    The devs are delusional to think they can perfect a pre-alpha build, especially since this is their first game . Module 1 is definitely going to be buggy and maybe unstable.
    The dev blogs should be informative on the development of the game or website and we are getting none of that. Just one concept art a month. Which should make anyone even a bit suspicious.

    The team is being particularly quiet these past weeks. They promised for transparency and they gave us a tracker that is extremely vague and needs to be updated manually and they blame another company for slowing them down which is very unlikely because this team is very incompetent.

    all the videos they have released are  placeholders and bought assets - basically a concept and not actual gameplay

    everyone has been making very valid points, but I believe they are working hard. I was watching jade's stream last night and he was doing little important touch ups with the apartments, so it looks more natural and sending it to another developer (dont know who) and putting it into the engine - communicating to each other so everything looks perfect at release. 

    They are definitely working hard and I believe that they are almost there. I have no choice but to worry like everyone else. We are just days before before release date and I can't help but feel like another delay is coming. There has been no official word on anything and everyone is getting a little unsettled about it. They promised to keep us in the loop and be more transparent but we're more in the dark than ever. No one knows anything regarding to the TS trailer, not even the developers. Which worries me even more! There has been no word on the progress of the website - everyone is just assuming things now. 

    This is the time for the identity team to restore their crippling reputation. Everyone is getting too hyped for the 23rd and if there were to be another delay, they would lose a lot of respect and gain a lot of hate. There would be no trust or hope, everyone will be sceptical in the future.

     I am very much worried.

    Pricing:

    Our pricing is unclear at this point and will probably be altered in the near future. 
    However, this is an estimation -

    Courier - The price will depend on the total cost of your product. We will take 15% of the value of your product to deliver. For example, if you bought a couch for $400, we will charge you, as the client, $60 to deliver it. The company will take 60% ($36) of the cut and the remainder will be the driver's payment  ($24). The company will use the cut to spend on more vehicles and drivers.

    Taxis - the pricing is quite different from couriers. The fare of the ride depends on the vehicle that our drivers are driving with. If the vehicle is slow, the pricing will be low. If the vehicle is fast, the pricing will be a bit more expensive. I will need to sit down and punch in the numbers for an estimation - sorry, there's no estimation for our taxi service quite yet.


    • We understand that your time is precise , so we guarantee that you will never be late to your appointment. All of our drivers will have a police clearance check before becoming employed, so you can always trust us that you'll be safe from criminals. Your safety is our highest priority.

    Hiring:

    We are not hiring quite yet - we want to build a system before employing anyone. (Website/discord)

    However, if you are interested in joining the team - you can either PM me or write a post. 

    There will be a formal application form once the website is up.  I just want to note that - We want sensible employees to take the job seriously. Any messing around - stealing or damaging any goods will be reported and their contract will be eliminated.

    They started the project of a team of 3 and the development was going very slow as each person was doing 3 jobs at a time. However, they are hiring more and more people which have drastically sped up the development. They had major delays also from programs discontinuing and the unreal engine becoming outdated - so they had to merge all their work to the latest version.

    They have employed a community manager to focus only on social media to post updates, so the developers can purely focus on finishing the game. They will be releasing real gameplay footage of the game in the following weeks and the town square module will be released on the 21st of March. They are very confident that there shouldn't be any more delays and they do apologize for all the waiting. They are just as excited about the game as we are. 

    They have mentioned that once the town square module is released, the other modules will come by a lot sooner (within months - Im assuming) 

    developing a game this detailed requires a lot of manpower. They want to make sure the modules and game are stable as soon as they're released.

    I'm sure they really appreciate your patience and support

    Hey - I'm very hyped for this game and I have been listening to all the streams and videos trying to get as much information of the game as possible. You say that the driving mechanics will be very realistic, will it be just as realistic as it would in a racing game simulator and will it have steering wheel support like the Logitech g27, for example?
