Ok, but if we balance the system by having the applicants going on the forum then that would not allow anyone a chance of being picked and whats the fun in knowing who will be the jury and who pretty much to bribe or even send people to kill them(assassinate the jury) 1 by 1 to stop themselves being found guilty.

And that's what we call Metagaming and as far as i heard it will not be acceptable.

Appying is like sending an e-mail to the place where we apply others did not know that the guy became a jury unless they were told in an in-character manner.

No, the jury are picked at random by a Automated process on the official server I believe.

Yes i know, read carefully next time because i said.

While there are lawyers in-game for many purposes, being used this way would unfortunately open the door to exploitation. For example, people could sue someone when they've done nothing wrong and in turn take money from them. You can't trust a jury of players to take the right side, since many people are playing to have fun juries often side with the more entertaining story (in our experience). Because of this, the system would be used to scam money away from people who worked hard and legitimately.

We can balance the system then.

To become a jury member you need to apply in the forums ( maybe in a sub-board ) that will be adminstrated by someone to make sure no troll join the jury or judges.

Well if you want I would like there to be a documentary about my campaign for Governor showing the people my campaign life and my normal one, I can of course help with this (making gaming cinematics has really been my dream) I'm good with what music belongs where and such but of course I'm sure we can sort this out through a private message?

If you fund the movie there will be no problem!

Note : I find that it's useless to update this right now since Identity will be opening atleast 2 months from now so don't expect much info from me about this till a later time.

@Mangotango If people are actually intereted by this idea i may create sub films companies you can help if you want tho.

"It's time you to leave your country and move to Roseport!" - Nines Reyes, General Director of Mountain Films, 2011

"We at Mountain Films view ourselves as philanthropists. By recruiting talented actors, we give them an outlet for success! We turn the common rabble into pinnacles of drama and pop culture! In other words, we work to make you famous!" - Michael Costa, 1994

"That thing's huge, dad. Where'd you get it?"

Ryan stared in amazement at the huge box his dad was lugging out of the Boxville. He leaped out and landed on his feet, and began walking toward their modest home.

"Hard work, kid. Thats where I got this."

It would take Duncan guts, strength, and a little bit more than hard work until he finally understood what his dad was saying.

The year was 1990. The streets of Dallas, Texas were hip with promotions and kingpins in the film business, and his Ryan's dad was a large part of it, being the CEO of the film production company, which was then known as Volcano Films. Sometimes, Michael Costa would come home tired and frustrated, skipping on dinner and leaving his wife, Helen Rivers, to fend for their child that night.

Things changed in 1994, once the two'd gotten married. Not only had Ryan, at age fourteen, began to view himself as an independent man, but the luck of Michael Costa in his film business. He began coming home happier than a sloth in slumber. It became known to us that his films were selling like Coca Cola in the 1930's. With this came certain luxuries; my dad bought not only a new Cadillac, but a bus for all his staff, and actors.

One day, Michael had asked Ryan if he wanted to come with him on one of the film sets. Of course he'd done this a hundred times before, but this time, they were going all the way out to Nevada to film in Reno. The trip was splendid, because Ryan met lots of famous actors, the staff were really nice, and he passed through a lot of cities with pretty views. It was thrilling to be going so far away from home, and to be on the set while the movies were being filmed.

When they got there, all the actors got off the bus, while the staff went to the back and retrieved the equipment. It took them quite a while to set up, but once the filming began, Ryan, oddly for the first time in his life, began to see the magic, the art of film. His entire life he'd viewed another's work, from the exterior. Looking at movies wasn't a critical thing, just entertainment. But what he saw in the interior was what mattered at this moment. He watched his dad direct the entire thing. He was creating this beautiful kinetic art with nothing but his imagination, stage directions, and a huge camera. It was these moments that sealed the fate of Ryan.

In the year of 2000, Ryan's father passed away from an unknown disorder. In his will, he'd left Ryan his camera, money, and keys to the studio as well as the ownership papers, in his name. He'd left Ryan the business of Volcano Films. Not only did Ryan have large shoes to fill, but he had things to change.

With his fathers business came the respect and disrespect of the locals.

"You're a Costa kid. I know for sure you can pull this off."
"Duncan, you're a try-hard with stunning determination. You can reboot the business."
"If your father could do it, anyone could!"
"I suppose its worth a try. You can pick up where he left off, continue his legacy."

    __________________________________________________

"You can't pick up where your father started."
"Volcano Films is dead. It died along with your father."
"Its over, kid. Go find yourself a nice job and try to forget about it."
"Just because you're Michael's kid doesn't mean you can be as great as him."

Ryan would eventually prove these men wrong. After days of hard work, a paintbrush, and some welding and printing, Ryan had redone his fathers studio, into what is now and will forever be known as Mountain Films. Immediately, he hired some actors and began business, creating his first feature film, "The Light Shines White". As he was the director in this film, he felt a certain power within. He was creating art. And it felt amazing. He knew it was his calling, he knew this was what he was born to do, and what he would die to do.

His pleasure was cut short. After the film was done and was sent out into the world, Its reception was not so great. This caused Ryan to be short of the money needed to keep the studio and pay the bills at home. He only had $60,000 left in his bank account, and it would run out in 3 weeks time if he used it for all the bills and utilities. So Ryan withdrew everything out of his bank account, then a week later, filed for bankruptcy.

But more than 5 years later, this wouldn't be the end of Mountain films.

  9. i find the Opposite day paradox funny. ( from wikipedia  "It is opposite day today." Therefore, it is not opposite day, but if you say it is a normal day it would be considered a normal day. ).

  10. Advertise much?

I don't think that the rose-port pirates meet the standards since it litteraly doesn't follow the basic things that any modern pirates do and the story is pretty much flawed so i guess you guys are friends?

I can say that your family is impressive everything is correct and precise same for the the Langston Family.

    Just my 2 cents.

  11. Here is the beginning of your story :

    “Sebastian? Sebastian!”
Hehad to call me twice to manage to drag me out of my oblivion. I looked up to him with a face that said nothing, and eyes that refused to break the self-established silence. I was half conscious, and his words mostly slipped by unheard, until he pressured my wound by mentioning her name.
“Amelia, Sebastian, what about Amelia?” – He asked, expressing little to no empathy, yet demandingly.
“It’s Amélie.” – I corrected him, disgusted by his behavior. It was obvious he didn’t care, while I took it personal, too personal.
“Jake, stop.” – His assistant stepped in, motioning something with his eyes, slowly shaking his head. He placed a glass of water on the table and asked me the same question with a calmer tone.
“What happened to Am-” he paused, and corrected himself in mid-sentence not to infuriate me more – “Amélie.” He failed. His French distorted her name. Yes it was that terrible. I, however, still could not take my eyes off Jake, who reluctantly stared at the two of us, waiting for something to change. For him, it was simply another bad day at work, but for me it was more than just that. I clenched my fist, dying inside from a wish to break his face, but I was chained to the damn table, lucky him. Cuffs tightly clung to my wrists, most likely leaving two bloody circles around them, but after hours of laying on cold steel, my hands could barely feel anything.
“I’ll handle this.” He said to Jake, asking him to leave the room. Jake nodded, and shut the heavy door behind himself. I followed him with my eyes, straight to the mirror glass, where he supposedly would be watching me from. Coincidentally, it was my reflection that stared at me from that very point.
“Look. Let’s start this over again. I know my partner is a bit rough and all, but we’re trying to help. Just tell me, what happened.” He asked, approaching me with a more friendly conversation. I was still silent, my mind had anything on it except talking to this guy. It was too busy, too lost.
    “Sebastian?” He repeated.
Sébastien… Sébastien… Sébastien…  For some reason, I started to hear echoes of my name in my head, of my name as I loved to be called, as she used to call me. My eyes froze, I don’t remember what I was looking at, but I couldn’t see it either way. I had nothing on my mind now, and I perceived nothing. My head was exploding, and from either rage or confusion I squeezed my head with my palms, trying to repossess myself.
“WHAT?!” I shouted as he jumped back, going straight for the handle of his handgun. I could already hear the door opening, and expected Jake to barge in. He didn’t. Assistant returned to the table, sat down and looked straight at me.
“Tell me what happened. You know this is going nowhere when you’re quiet.”
I wanted to talk now. I honestly did. I couldn’t keep it in me anymore, but I simply couldn’t utter a word. I tried to put the pieces of the puzzle together, and recall what happened to me, to us, before I found myself here.
I tried to talk, and as soon as he noticed it he withdrew his notepad, ready to write me down.
“I’m all ears.” He said as he clicked his pen.So I began:

( here you are going to make your story here is what i got in mind :

You character is somebody who discovered that he can see everything he did in the past he can go back and see everything but can't change anything but that will help him reach his goals etc for an example if he was a detective...you said it need to be romance here is your lover Amélie and his super natural power that i was talking about )

    Have a nice day.

You are missing the damn point: he might lose his confidence or something similar that's it! so be nice to him and encourage him and you said

Why would you be embarrassed? That's BS. I make grammar mistakes all the time yet I'm never embarrassed. I fix it. Spanish is the first language I learned and I had no problem learning English.

Well, my experience with english wasn't the same of yours however that does not change the fact that you need to stop being mean to others and actually help them.

I'm not being mean. I'm just saying work on your English if you are 10 or English ain't your native language. Which is more understandable.

Really? You really had a hard time of learning English because of people correcting your mistakes.

Nope i had a rough time learning english because people like you posting such things made me lose my confidence and embarrassed instead of encouraging me and fixing the actual mistakes not just saying that my english is bad.

  16. Here is my opinion about what you should NOT do :

Do not make the character OP i don't know why people think that anyone would  to read about how very powerful and majestic character they have Leave some space for character development you mentioned SAO don't make a character similar to Kirito he had no space for character development and got me bored in 2 episodes.

Don't make this the cliché story of a vampire who fell in love with a werewolf or vice versa.

We already got shitloads of fantasy super natural games make something modern or sci-fi like ben 10 alien force, ultimate alien watch some super natural series like The 100, supernatural and read the World of Darkness books they are amazing.

Note : Romcom supernatural story would be interesting if it is not cliché tho.

The key to write a good story is to read alot of books

Woops, i wrote a wall of text sorry.
