  1. Sure some streets will feel a bit empty (some times) but(!) you will not have to think of NPCs that don't do what they should (move over when the police/medic/fire fighters come etc). And you always know that when you see someone it is a real player that you can interact with.

Also this is how Altis life on Arma 3 works, and that is one of the most fun gamemodes I have ever played.

  2. You will probably be able to cause some damage to the government but the police will stop you long before you are able to take over. That and if it is hard coded that the government is chosen by letting players vote (which is the smart solution) then you are absolutely not able to do it.

  3. My experience from Altis Life (about 80-100 players on the same area) says that having 200-300 players on the island will be enough. Most players are going to be gathered at some important places (cities, good hunting places etc.). Which make the game feel full of people.

  4. The thing with street racing is that it more or less should be illegal (according to me  at least). With that said I am quite sure that there is a few people here that is going to organise it any way (myself included).

  5. My idea is that the driver of any emergency vehicle can decide to use a few different sounds while out on a call to get people to move out of the way. Same with lights (mainly for the police though) as they will need to be able to tell people if they want them to move out or the way or to stop by the side of the road.

That map is early concept art with improper scaling. We aren't working off it, but rather a composit of it with many many revisions. If we were to ask Pav to redraw us a new map with the new details, it would look a lot more convincing. Cities are much more dense, and cover a larger area of the map. Farmland is more expansive, with fewer trees. Roads and highways have been completely redrawn, and mountains have been re-positioned to make sense of the lake's water source. You'll love it!

Can't wait to see it! Damn anyone have the keys to the time machine?

I don't think you realize the scale of this map... Those cities are going to be gigantic and probably laggy for lower end pc's.

Yes lower end PC's will probably have problems running this game, but that doesn't mean the cities are really large. As the concept art looks atm the cities just have a few blocks and that is to small for some of the police-criminal action that we are going to get (car chases etc). But as I said it is just concept art atm and ingame it might be more than a few blocks per city.

So is it only SLI support? Not crossfire?

that too me seems like it's an Nvidia game works stuff, meaning AMD are pretty much not having a chance to play. Simple refund in that case

also the map is not as big as Arma 3 then because that is 270... Too me this seems small, specially when only one person can own a house at any given time, being small limits MASSIVELY, so most people spend time finding a server they can have a house on. Personally I think it should be bigger and with actual cities (not like 5 streets like most games) to arrange meets or car meets etc

As long as they actually use the space on the map and don't just have desert/wilderness covering >50% I'm happy.

No clue, but if not you can always use firetruck as a weapon itself and just run over people.

You don't dear to take my fire truck! But using the hoses to control protesters would be really fun :D
