The FMMB's purpose is to assure fair marketing across various vendors and merchants. We aim to keep a stabilized economy by insuring fair market prices for or customers. While at this junction in time the FMMB does not have any legal authorization, we WILL be seeking government backing for the project.

How We Operate

The FMMB will operate by holding meetings with participating merchants to assure no particular merchant is over charging for their goods or services, based against an average cost of similar products and services. This will help keep the economy stable and keep prices from being gouged or sky-rocketed.

Incentives To Join

Here are a few reasons why merchants will benefit from joining the FMMB:

  • Help maintain and stabilize and a balanced and fair economy for everyone.
  • Customers will KNOW you are a participant in FMMB and will feel both financially protected and reassured about spending with your store.
  • We will provide FREE merchant advice or help to any merchant members. (This does not include financial help)
  • We will work hard to shut down any competitors that are manipulating their prices in any direction away from fair market value.

About Us

The Fair Market Merchant Bureau is a non-profit organization that seeks to keep the economy stabilized and balanced for all citizens. We believe the prices of goods and services should be fair for all citizens. No one person should be getting rich off the sweat of the brow from another. To inquire about joining the Bureau and participating in making a better economy today please contact myself and have details pertaining to your business on hand.

DISCLAIMER:

The Fair Market Merchant Bureau is backed and supported by legitimate businesses ONLY! We will not help, assist, maintain, or support illegal companies or companies correlated with illegal actions, goods, or services.

Business Model

This is the model we will be using to keep merchants making satisfying profits while keeping prices manageable for the consumers.

First Step:

Determine the Cost of Production from raw element to finished product.

We consider the following when determining this cost:

Resource Availability

Required Skills or Tools to Harvest Raw Materials

Cost of Refining Raw Materials

Average Market Price of Raw Materials and Finished Product

Second Step:

Determine the Cost of Overhead

We consider the following when determining this cost:

Employee costs

Upkeep and Maintenance

Shop and Infrastructure Costs

Third Step:

Determine Your Margin of Profit

We use the following algorithm to determine your MoP

Gross Income From Final Product - (Cost of Production + Cost of Overhead) = Margin of Profit

Determining Your Products Fair Market Value(FMV)

We use the following algorithm to GUIDE us to determine your products Fair Market Value

(Cost of Production + Cost of Overhead) * 4 = Fair Market Value

Disclaimer:

At this junction in time we have chosen to allow the merchants a comfortable 4 times MoP so they can amass the fortunes they need and the prices can remain low relative to the cost of creating them. This allocated Fair Market Price is subject to change dependent on new laws and economic morals. The Fair Market Merchant Bureau will always continue to seek the best balanced solutions for great merchant profits as well as low customer prices.

This doesnt belong in politics friend. It's gotta be in business because this doesn't really have much to do with politics

It has everything to do with the economy, which is very much a political topic. But please, by all means, someone place this where it must go.

Your ... Post, I'm not sure what to call it at this moment, is very in line with my campaign. To help the economy become stable with plans set in motion to make more money and equal everything out. That way as you said "No one person should be getting rich off of somebody else." I stand very in line with what you have to say.

Basically, that is how the economy works...one person's expense is another's income.

To a degree. The objective of FMMB is to assure the merchants aren't charging more than fair prices to their customers. Not everyone will be a merchant and not everyone will be able to afford extorted prices. We intend to act to make sure the prices are fair for both the merchant to make a generous profit without stepping on the consumers right to a fair market price.

Feel free to send me a PM regarding your campaigns name and platform. The FMMB is more than willing to work with any and all legitimate businesses, corporations, and government facilities.

Fair enough. So what about exclusive brands that sell high-end products such as cars, clothing, art, etc. and they use the power of their brand to sell items at higher prices (Rolls Royce, Armani, Gucci, etc.)? How will you deal with them?

In order to charge a high price for a item it must be crafted of superior materials. If you want to sell items that are high in price, sell items crafted with rare resources. The availability of the resources your items are crafted from is factored in when we are determining your personal cost of production.

But what of a company that uses just regular resources and uses it in a "different" way and because of the different of style and the brand they charge more. How would you factor ingenuity in your model?

All of our Fair Market Value estimates are done on a per company basis, we will work to the best of our abilities to suit both the needs of the customer as well as the needs of the merchant to find a well balanced middle ground. Your skill/labor is accounted into production cost. Therefore, if your skill shows to be of higher craftsmanship then you will be allotted more room for higher prices. We will be working more closely with the merchants than the consumers, but our goal will always be to find a working middle ground to satisfy both parties involved on either end of trade.

This seems very interesting.

How would you deal with a failing business? Would there be a liquidation process or a bailout system in play for the market?

We believe in free markets. Meaning there is no limit to your success or failure. If your business goes under, it goes under. If you are participating in our program we will do our best to advertise your business to the masses, but ultimately your success or failure is entirely in your own hands.

Shouldn't the regulation of inflation be handled by the cental government through monetary policies and basic economics (demand and supply)
