A big mismatch in numbers...

Recommended Posts

So i have just calculated the numbers from the homepage..

It says they have earned 1.326.098$

And the numbers of Citizen is 159.896

So if u devide 1.326.098/159.896= 8$ ..

I have not seen anything at the store to avarage be at 8$ the lowest is 15$

Lets say that half of those Citizen bought it to 15$ and the other half bought it to 30$

79.948x15= 1.199.220$

79.948x30= 2.348.440$

1.199.220+2.348.440= 3.597.660

So i dont understand how those to numbers could fit, anyone who could enlight me please?

On the new site the number of citizens is accounts in total, no longer is it number of people who have pledged.  Also the cheapest thing on the store is $5.  Example: https://www.identityrpg.com/shop/item/20

Kickstarter. I believe there were pledges as small as $1. It didn’t give you anything. But it was a pledge to the game nonetheless. And I believe citizens are just the number of accounts made. Not people with the actual citizen package and up.

But the 5$ is new just when the new website went Up ...

I don’t see how that’s relevant.

His point is that the citizen number was from the old site, where there wasn't a $5 item in the store.

So if the numbers of Citizen is the number of account, on this page, that sounds more like a sale strategy to get even more money.. so people think wow alot of players bought this, i Will do the same.. so in my eyes a little lie to atract more people..

This is clearly a bug with the system as transactions are handled in the backend in a different way now. There are several bugs with the new website, all of which will be ironed out right away.

A bit ago the same question was asked so, I used the search function and found Paratus gave an answer.

Edit: Here's the link in case someone comes and says "source?"

That is exactly the reasoning behind it.
