To complete the art tasks, they need a maximum 1 week. PROGRAMMING tasks can long a month, in dependence on complexity.

Who are you to give an estimate on how long it should take them? Do you have all of the inside information as to exactly what's going on? This may not even be something that they can control.

I'm just IT specialist.

It is not argument, it is my job O.o

I don't think you're understanding my point here, bud. The 'argument from authority' means that just because you have a job in a particular field or a degree does not mean you know what you're talking about. I have a CompTIA A+ certification which is more basic IT bench technician however I know the rungs that you can climb to within an IT field. I'd expect a more convincing argument from someone who's been in a similar position as the lead developers of Identity (project lead or oversight for video-game development) or within the field of Comp-Sci, not from someone who's an Information Technology Specialist if the argument from authority was even rendered null and everything you said could be taken with merit based on your background.

Can anyone tell me how to do a refund?

Dont get me wrong, i wont say anything negative about the game itself, but those devs are a laugh. One delay after another, they have delayed this game for years now. So no, i would like to receive my money back, and wait till the game has been released, to see what the reviews be like.

i really wanted to back you guys up, as this game could be a game changer. But this has gone to far.

Few months now it's delayed again and again.... i really would like to know what's the real reason to do that again and again, and don't tell me "bugs blabla.... "  it's a beta and then anyway there will be bugs. Never seen a game in beta without bugs, never... it's not a good reason. So why just don't let us see what is the level of the actual version.

I agree. An unfinished version is better than nothing at all.

The fact that they have consistently provided factual DATES, not to mention not "approximates" but ACTUAL DOWN TO EXACT DATES of release and then pushes it back makes me FURIOUS. If you're gonna be inefficient in your work just state it instead of making up lies and providing fake dates. I had backed this game before the release of the town square in hopes that they actually complete their job but sadly I was in false hope, once again like everyone else. I just feel bad for the people who spent a lot of money on this waste of time.

Also, I would like to know how to refund cause not even 30$ is worth this joke of a company. What a disappointment.

I don't think you understand how they might be thinking. I remember when I had to design a new system for a game I've had, I did it as fast as I could and tested it after changing every line of existing code I've had, I tested it almost all night long and have had a few times I was working 14 hours non-stop. But then.. from bugs experiences (due to so many tests), I came up with an even better idea, sometimes for an entire system replacement! A few tweaks here and there, a few modifications here and there, keep testing it all non-stop... and boom, 3 days of work are paying off. Obviously, talking about a small-scaled systems, I cannot even imagine how it's like with Identity, but I do try to imagine it and I understand.
While, yes, I do know that it's another delay and they did not mention the reason, you do need to understand they base this game from 0, everything they create is their own, including animation and 3d/2d art, which is a lot of time even for the expert ones. So yeah, if there are a few bugs I wouldn't be surprised they are working on fixing it, but I would not be surprised if they planned one thing and ended up with another thing entirely, that's the beauty of development, code writing and testing your product to attempt and avoid all sort of possible bugs.

At this point, I'm quite honestly not even surprised. It's sad to see it happen, but oh well.. Nothing we can do about, Let's just hope that things will be released ASAP. I've waited sooo long for Identity to be released, I don't want to wait much longer. But you guys do what you do, and I'll catch y'all in-game whenever that is! :)

I would prefer getting a taste of what's coming instead of waiting. Even if it is unfinished. It is not the final release and full game, which makes it completely fine that there are bugs. If the bugs are so problematic so the game cannot be released that is understandable.

Because of the many delays they make me feel like a refund is the best option right now.

I completely agree with you Bryan, and as you said Dandi, you cannot even imagine how it's like with identity, the point is we're waiting for few years now and some of us invested lot of hope and btw also money in it to see something one day(or not..), we know they started from nothing, but at this point i think we deserve more and more explanations about all this. I'm not blaming anyone but we just wanna know...

The module is simultaneously an alpha and a very small (incomplete) portion of the actual game. What people are getting at is there's all this talk about polishing and making it 100%, but it's well understood to be a very early look into the game, something that's supposed to ensure us that they're actually doing something.

It is well understood that the game will still be in development and subject to massive changes. It's naive to think that they're going to achieve something that's 100% by any reasonable stretch of the imagination, especially for a module.

The problem is we still haven't seen anything that suggests they've actually got a game. April 23rd was a moment of truth, and it's been a pretty damning blow -- I cannot depend on anything these people say. It's so unfortunate that what could have been an exciting weekend for the community has turned out to be another disappointment.

Look people just need to chill, I've seen a few people go off the rail at the devs which is unnecessary. Like I said before sure get it off your chest like I did but take a chill pill and relax, everyone's annoyed that it's been delayed but common sense prevails and common sense says that the devs will release it when it's ready hence why they've removed a release date altogether and have put the dev tracker on

I find it funny how people get so aggravated over a delay. It happens, bitching like a bunch of pussies isn't going to help anything. I've been following the game's development with a friend of mine since before this website was even up, the only thing you can do to not go stir crazy waiting for the game is to merely check in every month or so, check any updates, and if the game isn't out, go on with your fucking life for another month, and check in again.

Don't bother responding to me about how the Asylum team has lost your trust because I couldn't care less and I'm sure there are plenty of others who don't want to hear your gripes either, even some who've been following the game since day one. They're working with a million dollar budget, I'd rather them take another two years to make a fantastic game rather than release an unfinished product that I've spent sixty dollars on.

Another way to get a refund is ask in account support and you will be requested to contact beach ball if you are out of the 180 days window.

Proof of that in this thread with last replay.

Technically he's right, while it's the fifth delay it's only the second time it's been delayed while given an official release date

Is this some kind of joke? Your marketing approach has some serious issues. In fact, we need to start submitting  requests for refund so that they learn a lesson and understand the consequences of repetitive misrepresentation of information to their consumers.
