Looking For Work. Willing To Do Mostly Anything. Read Below
Centro posted a topic in The Town SquareGreetings. I am Centro. Upon looking at Identity, I have been interested in filling out applications. I am looking for things prior to work. Be it taxi driver, spy, private detective, thief, bartender, cook, paintball referee, waiter, hunter, or others. I'm interested in things related to legal work to illegal work. Keep in mind that I will only choose one job. You might be saying to yourself if you're a police officer, "He steals? We cannot hire him." Which isn't a bad idea, but keep in mind that I will only be working for one person. If chosen as a detective, there will be no thievery or random murder for me. If I am a criminal, I will not help the police. The job that I choose will go with the character, therefore if you are needing someone to trust, I am your man. If you are chosen as my boss, then I will solely work for you and work under you with following all the laws and rules you provide. Please keep in mind that I will be in 100% RP mode once I am in game. Things I am looking for: Seriousness - no trolls Formal - well written - in depth application Owners who are above the age of 17 Understands the full rules of Metagaming Understands that anything we talk about will be between me and the person I am talking with, not their character (Unless in RP) Full honesty in the recruitment process (ex; You say you are a detective agency when in all honesty it's a Family/Gang. Ex2; You have 4 people in the company but state 100 in the interview) I do not work with KOS/RDM organizations - We are here to RP, not to go on a killing spree Looking for organizations/jobs where you believe negotiation before pulling the trigger (ask if confused on what I mean) Understands that there are other things I may be looking for that may not be written above Aware that it is not first come first serve so make use of what you say to me More than 4 members Please contact me on Discord: Centro#5836 or here on the forums. Please be aware that I will only respond to private messages. All posts under the comments section for recruitment will be disqualified. I wish to work for an organization that can listen. [EDIT Added Content ] I may sound like a cherry picker, but here is why. Multiple people have come up to me. Why choose first come first serve when there's perhaps better organizations out there? I like to choose and compare to see if it will fit my needs, as well as there's. Not just pick it and move on with it. Thanks Centro
Money System Ideas
blackeye212 posted a topic in Ideas & SuggestionsMoney System Ideas Concept Firstly I would like to explain my concepts then I will go into more detail for some additions to the money system (some may be in the game or they may be in planning, I don't know what they have planned.) What I was thinking of is different states of money such as Dirty money (Money obtained unlawfully) Clean money (Money obtained lawfully). I will now explain what systems could be added. Clean Money The use of Clean money would be to use to buy items for your person, house ext... And you would be able to deposit the money into a bank or the game equivalent and also inside your house. This type of money you could use anywhere and you would not have to do anything to it to use it at all places. Dirty Money The way you would get Dirty money is by robbing a bank or any other big place that would have a large amount of money. The way this money could come into play is if there is a bank robbery instead of the robbers being able to deposit the money into the bank and it would be safe. It would add an extra "cleaning" method you would have to do. This would involve a system of if you had $10,000 of dirty money you would have to pay 20% of the money you want to be cleaned. If you choose not to clean the money you would not be able to deposit the money into a bank but would have to store it in your house or yourself, So if the police found dirty money on you they could investigate where the money came from. Notes There could be a few other ways you could gain dirty money through "black market" trades with players (it would be up to the players if you want dirty money or clean) The police could have a system on their computers to check if the money you have is dirty money. Such as if you got pulled over by the police and you had $10,000 on you they would question you why you had that amount on you and if you don't have an explanation they could run the money through a computer and see if its dirty (involved in a robbery) or clean (legally obtained) This is my second suggestion check my first suggestion out here :
Marijuana- Roger for Governor
RogerTheShrubber posted a topic in The PodiumI believe that the legalization of marijuana is inevitable and I'm personally for it. This is going to be important for the citizens of the great island of identity and will help stimulate the economy. You may smoke it freely! The way I would set it up is that you must get a permit and storefront to sell marijuana. You can only sell in those stores to protect the integrity of the businesses that choose to sell. There will be a small tax on the sale of marijuana. Anyone caught trying to undercut the tax and legit businesses by selling the drug will be fined heavily. Although there will be no jail time since this is not considered a violent crime unless involved with a gang known to be violent. You will only get fines starting with 50$ on the first offense then doubling every time you are caught. The reason I wouldn't throw you in jail is because again it's not a violent crime and that would just be a huge governmental waste on your tax dollars. The government would have to pay for your food while in jail, the space you take up in jail, the officers time, and many more factors that would be disadvantageous for the government to pursue that route. Tax rate: 6-10% I feel like the legalization of marijuana would also limit the profits of gangs trying to profit in that area and thus limit crime in that area. Questions? Please ask and I will try to respond to the best of my ability. Note: Since the game isn't out there is no promises due to the possible limitations that we don't know about yet.
