  1. Grafiti

Hey i just had the best idea for you guys and i believe you should add a grafiti feature so gangs can spread their name or just do it for fun. I think it will be a cool thing to implement. Thoughts?
  2. Licenses and Citzenship

I don't know if this was planned already, but I will suggest it anyway. What will it add? Multiple licenses including drivers license, trucking license, weapons license, business etc. This will also add citizenship papers that you choose to be given. There will be green cards and work visas as well. Licenses and permissions to be in the land can be taken from you. These will all be an inventory item and able to be given to other players like officers. Optional: Tests and a quiz for licenses. This will educate every person about the license which is no excuse for using it incorrectly and getting it taken away. Careers in government who accept or deny license applications. Except for driving and citizenship. Why should this be added? Allows police department to keep track of criminals. Allows new types of roleplay like immigration. Adds realism in many ways. None of these should be hard nor be expensive to get but be required. Have anything to add? Comment it down below!
  3. Nightclub/Lounge Idea

Hi there! A nightclub would be something good for players to create, if it is possible. I know from the previous pictures released by Identity had shown a similar concept. I think creating a lounge or nightclub (even both!) would be good for having fun and providing jobs (bartending, dj and some live singers). Feel free to comment and suggest any ideas!
  4. This poll is for all the motorheads out there. Feel free to comment and suggest any other options!
  5. Technology shop!

Hi there! I have an idea for building a store solely based on selling retro and new technology, (mainly phones, TVs, radios, computers and music players). I think the idea will be great because there are a lot of technological goods which we interact with in real life. Also, I'm including retro tech such as vinyl players and cassette decks as there might be retro fans out there in Identity, who would like the whole retroesque experience in the game. If possible Polaroid cameras and 30mm camcorders can also be up for sale, if Identity has created some software for the these goods to be used. If you are interested or you have an suggestions or comments, feel free to share!
  6. i have two things that i would like to see in the finished game. they are very ambitious things for the currently small development team and i would much rather the game came out first and then this was added in so this by all means has minimum priority. my first suggestion is that of architecture, i would love the ability to design and live in my own house, this would also offer up a larger range of career paths such as the architect themselves, the construction workers and the local council where the person wanting the building has to apply planning permission. my second suggestion is hacking, this idea in itself is very unrefined and probably have to rest very high in the skill tree, im not quite sure how hacking in the game could work but id love to hear your opinions. both of these opinions are probably worthless yet theyre just things id enjoy in the game. thank you for reading K9
  7. Probably a stupid question but will we be allowed to play games within the game? Ok let's put it this way, you have a friend over to your house in the game and you want to show him a game you have irl but in the context of the game. So how about a system that links to the screen of your in-game PC so that it opens a game in a window on that pc for you, running the game as normal within the confines of the "pc screen" ingame and then for any spectators it would be streaming that gameplay to the screen. Now to avoid performance issues where a random passerby in a public place might loose some bandwidth with a few people streaming their games why not add a mechanic where a player has to sit down next to the person playing or accept an invite to watch stream when close enough. Obviously the super high end games would not be applicable but just in general it could be a fun way to rp as a gamer withing the game....once again this might all just be some dumb idea of mine none of you would be interested in but just thought i'd throw it out there.... Side note: Is smoking in this game a thing? ~ FanaticalLikeADemon
  8. Wallet

I think we need to have a wallet, especially in this game , everything is awesome and this going to be amazing . Dev team done and did everything to make this game unique . just imagine.and tell me what do you think .
  9. Contract system

You should implement a feature to create contracts. This could be useful at a judgement to proof an agreement. My idea was that i can create a contract where i write everything in it and all of the conditions or i just hire a lawyer for creating a contract. Then i can sign it, give it to another player that he can read it and if he signs it too, both of us have a signed copy of it in their inventories. This would be good to prevent scam (for example a worker that isnt paid) and it could make the job as a businessman, lawyer or judge even more interesting. Thanks for reading. Feel free to like to show the devs that you like this idea too. ______________________________ @Paratus @Motown
  10. Suggestion for Identity

I propose to add bikes and add the possibility of doing power-wheeles, burn-out.... Etc. I'm Spanish, I hope you understand me. Thanks I hope someone answers me.
  11. ATTENTION DEVELOPMENT TEAM Development team a very important thing that I always hate in game developers is that they hardly ever release games on Mac, I would love you so much and back you 100% if you can confirm that you WILL release this game on Mac, and Windows. Macs have pretty good specs and its a shame to put them to waist. Identity has so much potential to be one of the greatest games ever please, don't ruin it by being windows only. #IDENTITYHASSOMUCHPOTENTIAL PLEASE CONFIRM IF IT WILL BE RELEASED ON MAC BY REPLYING TO THIS COMMENT
  12. I was just wandering what would be the pros and cons of facescan? All I can think of are pros Pros: immersion, fun, uniqueness, heightened customization. Cons: ? Comment.
  13. The Muted

Good afternoon/Morning/Night! I was looking over how everything worked and the idea of having communication through the microphone come from your character and such to be quite cool, But i was personally intrested in how those like myself who cannot speak (I am mute) can communicate, Of course a simple chat box would be expected but the potential for people to possibly create sign language, Such as a menu with a list a search bar and a whole load of sign language options. Such as saying simple phrases and words. And when someone selects one, The character animates the sign language being said and then the meaning of it would appear for those who do not understand it. This idea i think would be more inclusive and intresting for players, Of course those who are mute is rare, It is usable by those without microphones as a alternative method, And those with a other audiable range of disabilities. Thanks for taking the time to read through this whole thing, Stay awesome.
  14. Law Enforcement Ideas & Suggestions

My ideas and suggestions for Law Enforcement in the game By @Indoorseeker If you have any questions please ask Outline 1 Mission, Vision, Core Values, Code of Ethics 2 Hiring Process 3 Hierarchy and Rank 4 Organizational Chart 5 Real life levels of Law Enforcement in the United States 6 In Game levels of Law Enforcement 7 Real life population ratios versus In Game population ratios 8 Law Enforcement Presence 9 Duties and functions 10 Tools, Gear, Equipment, Uniforms, Vehicles 1 Law Enforcement Mission, Vision, Core Values, Code of Ethics These are important for any real law enforcement agency to have as these items are often the foundation of what makes your agency and what your agency strives for. (Example) Mission Our mission is to safeguard the lives, rights and property of the people we serve; to reduce the incidence and fear of crime; and to enhance public safety while working with our community to improve their quality of life. Vision It is our vision to make our community one of the safest and most enjoyable places to live and to be a leader in public safety. Core Values Professionalism, Honor, Integrity, Courage, Excellence Law Enforcement Code of Ethics As a Law Enforcement Officer, my fundamental duty is to serve mankind; to safeguard lives and property; to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the Constitutional rights of all men to liberty, equality and justice. I will keep my private life unsullied as an example to all; maintain courageous calm in the face of danger, scorn, or ridicule; develop self-restraint; and be constantly mindful of the welfare of others. Honest in thought and deed in both my personal and official life, I will be exemplary in obeying the laws of the land and the regulations of my department. Whatever I see or hear of a confidential nature or that is confided to me in my official capacity will be kept ever secret unless revelation is necessary in the performance of my duty. I will never act officiously or permit personal feelings, prejudices, animosities or friendships to influence my decisions. With no compromise for crime and with relentless prosecution of criminals, I will enforce the law courteously and appropriately without fear or favor, malice or ill will, never employing unnecessary force or violence and never accepting gratuities. I recognize the badge of my office as a symbol of public faith, and I accept it as a public trust to be held so long as I am true to the ethics of the police service. I will constantly strive to achieve these objectives and ideals, dedicating myself before God* to my chosen profession...law enforcement. *footnote... individuals not obligated or required to mention God in their oath if they choose. 2 The Hiring Process In real life a person applying and testing to become a police officer will usually go through the following steps: apply to agency, participate in written and physical test, your application good scores will help place you on the agency candidate list, agency conducts oral board interview, one on one interview, background check, psychological test, doctors physical, final interview and official offer of employment. After the offer of employment the person would go into a probationary period of employment and start training with in the agency and then go to an academy usually within the first 6 months of hire. To my knowledge, game creators have said that there will be an application process that is a quiz and/or test that players will be required to take and that will determine if they can become a law enforcement officer or not. This quiz and/or test will be an automatic function on official servers to my understanding. 3 Hierarchy and Rank It is my suggestion and recommendation that the law enforcement agency on the game identity be the Sheriff's Office. I will explain more later. Sheriff Under sheriff Major Captain Sergeant Corporal Deputy Recruit 4 Organizational Chart Please refer to the attached image LE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART below 5 Real life levels of Law Enforcement in the United States Federal- federal agencies police all over the nation and usually respond at the request of state, local, and municipal agencies. State- the state police or state patrol polices the entire state, mainly on highways. County- the sheriff's office polices in all areas of the county, especially unincorporated cities and towns. Municipal - a police department polices in an incorporated city. 6 In Game levels of Law Enforcement As seen suggested on the forum, the population capacity on official servers is hoped to be about 300 players. Realistically for the game, it would be best to have one law enforcement agency that operates in order to save time, resources, and server space. I am suggesting it be a Sheriff's Office because Municipal Agencies in real life only patrol with in the city limits of the incorporated city they are based in. The county sheriff's office patrols all areas of the county, incorporated or not. And when you have a county who's population is really small, similar to the 300 player capacity in the game, it would be the sheriff's office that is the law enforcement presence in the area. You would not see a police department until a city was large enough to become incorporated. Also, the sheriff in real life is an elected official as well as a sworn in law enforcement officer. If this part was implemented into the game, it could provide an interesting feature to the game and role play environment. 7 Real life population ratios versus In Game population ratios In real life, according to FBI statistics, the average ratio of law enforcement officers to the general population is about 2 officers for every 1,000 people. So realistically, 300 people would only require one officer technically, but for role play and immersion there will be more people playing as police officers. I would recommend not going more than 10 % or 30 officers on a server. The other thing to think about is that Law Enforcement agencies are paid with tax payer money. Taxes are collected and a portion is reserved to pay for public safety and law enforcement wages. So if the official server is implemented to be as realistic as possible, the island government may not even have enough funds to pay for a lot of law enforcement officers. 8 Law Enforcement Presence In real life, on a shift, police generally break up their patrol area into different sections. This is especially true for a sheriff's office that covers a lot of square miles. Each section is assigned an officer or officers that will patrol that area or section for the duration of their shift. In scenarios where there is a request for additional officers to assist or an emergency dictates more officers, officers in that area or from different sections will respond to meet the need of the scenario. Not everyone would respond all at once, depending on the emergency or situation, but if a request is made or needed, 1 or 2 other officers will break off from their normal patrol and go to where the officer is needed to assist. 9 Duties and functions It is the duty of law enforcement to protect and serve. Both protecting and enforcing the law as well as protecting the individual lives, rights and property of the people they serve. The primary force of law enforcement is on the road. Thus a Patrol Division. The presence of officers on the road and the best coverage on the road is the best deterrent of crime and the fear of crime. The secondary force would be corrections. From small to large counties, the sheriff's office is responsible for the county jail and the smallest of agencies do not separate Sheriff's Deputies and Corrections Officers. For the purpose of the game, it would be best to train and use officers to fulfill the role and function of both Deputies on the road and Deputies in corrections. The third and forth force, investigations and special operations in the largest of agencies will have their own divisions but not always full time. The majority of agencies use already existing officers to fulfill the role of Special Weapons And Tactics. For the purpose of the game, normal officers can be used to fulfill the roles and duties of detectives, swat, air support, drug task force, gang task force, etc as they are needed when situations arise. The best use of resources is to have an officer that has multiple functions and can perform multiple types of tasks and responsibilities. 10 Tools, Gear, Equipment, Uniforms, Vehicles In real life this includes Duty belt Ballistic vest Vest carrier Holsters Firearms, pistol, rifle, shotgun Tasers Flashlights Baton Handcuffs Magazines Radio equipment OC/Pepper Spray Uniform and additional things like coats, etc. Gear bag First Aid Riot Gear Police Barriers Police Vehicle I am really interested to see an in depth customization of uniforms and equipment in the game. Please let me know if you have any questions. Family First, Mission Always. Stay Safe.
  15. What do you think about the characters getting the chance to be superheroes in the game? It would be awesome!!! don't you think? Who agrees?
  16. I don't know if something like this is in the works, but there should be some kind of competitive racing motorsport league(s). If it isn't feasable, then a simple underground one will work fine, but I think if this game stays true and adds content continuously this can really add another popular area of gameplay. I also do not really know how far in depth this game will go. Maybe to go along with this and other careers there can be a news/television career that can do interviews, report news, commentate on sports and events, etc. It would be nice to have multiple player based news or TV stations. Note: These should probably be a in the not-so-near future so a stable base game can be made and fit enough typical audiences to have a large playerbase before specific careers like these are added. I could list more but I'll refrain. tl;dr: A professional racing career area, and a news/television career area to be made way later on in the dev cycle, if additional things like this will be added
  17. Hey guys, recently looked into this game and figured I'd create a forum profile! Anyways, in every great MMORPG they have holiday events! And I know not a lot of people celebrate certain holidays, but I thought that it'd be cool if we could have events where you can items during that holiday season that you normally can't get. Valentine's Day: For Valentine's Day, I'm thinking you guys can add some special car decals and new clothes. For women, some lingerie (if that's allowed) and for men, maybe some heart t-shirts. I don't know, there's not much you can do for Valentine's Day. Canada Day (Canadian Servers if they're separate from US): For Canada Day, go out with all RED! Whatever you can come up with, make it red! Have people show their patriotism for Canada! I think that would be really cool for Canadians and I think that event should last only on Canada Day. July 4th (American Servers if they're separate from CA): For July 4th, we can go all out with RED, WHITE, AND BLUE! Whatever you can come up with, make it American and patriotic! Also, this should last only on July 4th. Halloween: We've all grown to love Halloween at some point in time and how cool would it be to dress up and trick or treat?! Or... have the purge. Either way, stores should be selling masks as well as costumes and candy for those who want to pass out candy to people! Maybe, just maybe, there could be a server event where the purge happens on that night for maybe an hour or so. This could make overpopulation die out Thanksgiving (American Servers if they're separate from CA): Turkey day! We can have Turkey shirts, Turkey decals for cars and houses, as well as a special Turkey dinner that you can cook and get the recipe for only on Thanksgiving! This should last only on Thanksgiving as well. Black Friday (Oh god...): Yeah, I know not everyone shops on Black Friday, but I think it'd be cool to have it in-game! We could have 30-70% off sales in all stores. This would especially help out the newbies who have little to no money. This could be on every server and should last only on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Christmas: Everyone's favorite holiday (maybe..)! We could have snow falling for a week down in California, which would be insane. Stores could be selling christmas decorations for your house and holiday clothing! I think this should last for the whole week on which Christmas lies on. Again everyone reading, these are all suggestions and my ideas. If you'd like to comment other suggestions related to this, go ahead! I'm open to feedback as well and hope you all think these are ideas that could possibly be implemented into the game.
  18. 1 week season cycle

Hi I am new to this project but I am well experienced in many different RPG and realistic role play games and mods. I am suggesting a season and weather cycle for the game. There is many different ways this could be implemented. Here are a couple of examples for how you could do seasons and weather: 1) Each month is a years worth of seasons. The beginning of the month is cold and snowing, the middle is summer, and the end is starting winter again. Of course in between the changing of the two seasons is fall and spring. Included with this season cycle, if it rains during the winter, it snows instead and can add a layer of snow around the city. Snow could just be a layer that does nothing to the game, or you could have less traction with normal vehicles in snow covered roads. You could go as far as allowing city workers to use snow plows on city roads to help clear snow but thats a lot of developing and coding to add that. 2) The way weather is determined is on a randomized chance at the beginning of each in game day. No one can influence a certain outcome but the game chooses if it will rain (or snow if in the winter) and for how long. This will allow immersion and can sometimes change a persons play style for that certain time. An example is that maybe players will take it slow if theres snow on the roads because its easier for you to crash, or that you dont go out for a run or a walk to a store or a friends house and instead you take your car because its cold. If you do something like this you should have it so you can get cold or hot and have to change your clothes depending on the weather. These are just some ideas and suggestions that I had that I would like to see in the game. If anyone else has any ideas it would be good if you commented them below
  19. Address Book/Phonebook

I was thinking about the live talk shows etc and was thinking of other cool features to dig into the virtual reality-ness of Identity. It would be cool to have a friends list come in the form of an address book or roll-a-dex or phone number logged in a cell phone. Just a small thought to add to immersion And I don't know if anyone still actually uses phone books but maybe businesses could be registered with a phone book or put on an "online" search?
  20. Hello everyone. So, in my town, we have Community Service Officers (CSO) who drive in green cruisers and are only given pepper spray, and they are kind of like police, but they go to cold burglary calls (cold burglaries are burglaries of a home that happened while the homeowner was away, if you didn't know that), managing traffic accidents, and reporting activity that requires police or other first responders, and otherwise just going around town making sure people are doing well. For example, if a bank is being robbed, they will call it in and then just wait outside the bank, making sure civilians stay clear of the area and making sure the suspects don't go anywhere while police officers are en route. CSO's are required to have a High School diploma, be 18 or older, and have a clean record. This position is only part time in my town, I don't even know if other departments have this sort of thing, but this is basically more of a way to get a boost when you put in your application with a police department when you're ready to be an officer. So, I was wondering, would this perhaps be something we could introduce into the game? I know that having this sort of part time position wouldn't be as nice as being an actual officer, especially since you don't even get a Taser, and I doubt anyone would end up doing this since their age won't matter, or at least I don't think it will, when it comes to a game rather than an actual police department. So, should this be something that if it was implemented, we opened to civilians who are looking for a temp job? There are some people who may like Law Enforcement who wish to stay on the civilian side of life, or if the civilian recruitment wouldn't work, would putting officers who are going through the police academy into CSO jobs when they're not training work, or perhaps this could be a disciplinary action for officers who do something wrong. Let me know what you think about this, cheers! Here's a picture of a CSO car in my town, I blacked out the officer to the right because I wasn't sure if I should have kept them in or not.
  21. If there is a name-tag system implemented within the game, I've thought of a system that would hide the name tag of a player, used to disguise their name from others having the power to use it against them as it's shown above their head or within the player himself, I am suggesting an option that is required for everyone to specify who they want to know their name/those who currently know the player's name, it would be a required option to use if someone had found out the player's name in a role-play manner, I feel it would just increase the role-play within Identity, and help from people using name tags as an advantage. Also wanting to add: I've asked a question on Identity's twitter page, haven't gotten an answer but here's the question..
  22. Hello fellow identitizers So I've thought about a new original way of asking for suggestions, which will kinda.. uhm.. "prepare" us for RP? I'll write a text with some features that I'd like to see in the game. I'll write an example right now, and I'll underline the features... It is a cold, dark day, darker than usual. The forecast was right. I was making dinner, when suddenly, I heard somone knocking on the door. I went in my living room, and opened my MadBook Pro, to check the CCTV Cameras I had installed earlier. I noticed two silouhettes talking in front of my door, and I suddenly realised the police was here. Of course they would, hiding a body in a trash can wasn't the best idea ever after all... I went in my bedroom, and opened the secret locker I had hidden behind my painting. I took the pocket handgun I had saved for during a week, and I headed to my bedroom. I hid in the closet, waiting for them to come in. I suddenly heard some kind of explosion: They had breached the door. I was ready. One of them came in the bedroom, handgun in hand. I came out of the closet, dual wielding my butterfly knife (FANCY :D) that I always kept in my back pocket, and my handgun. I backstabbed him, killing him instantly. The other one, alarmed by the noise, came in. I pointed my gun at his head and shot. His body fell in a loud thump, and I was pretty sure some other cops were coming. I had to end all this. I took my handgun, put the barrel in my mouth, and shot. So respectively, here are the features, in case there are unclear ones: - cold, dark day : The atmosphere can change depending on days. Somedays it's hot and bright, somedays it's cold and raining. - The forecast : There should be a way to know what atmosphere is going to happen on the next day. - knocking on the door : Speaks for itself I guess ! - CCTV Cameras : CCTV Cameras, or any other security systems ! I mean these could be great for rp, admit it. - hiding a body in a trash can : That does speak for itself too. But not only in trash cans, in any other place that cant really be easily discovered. - secret locker I had hidden behind my painting : Hiding a locker behind a painting is so, so classical. But it's awesome and hard to find if you don't know where to search. Good RP addition ! - hid in the closet : Not only in the closet, imagine having to hide in a trash can to avoid getting dismembered by a gang! - breached the door : Speaks for itself, breaching the door in extreme cases is the only way I guess. - dual wielding : That, ladies and gentlemen, is awesome. Dual wielding.. Imagine, two knives! This can make fights and RP a little more spicy ! - in my back pocket : Being able to put things in different places would be cool: your phone in your left pocket, your security card in the right one: these are small rp habits ! - some other cops were coming : By that, I mean cops having a radio system to call other cops in emergency situations. - I took my handgun, put the barrel in my mouth, and shot. : Because yeah, suiciding is sometimes the best solution. So I hope you enjoyed that and that there will be more of those RP Suggestions as I like to call 'em Paulchartres
