I can see why they don't do a drug animation, they don't want to "teach" anyone how to make a drug and be held liable if someone's stupid enough to try and do it IRL.. Imagine the report "man busted for cooking Meth, says he learned how to make it from a video game (Identity)" - Regarding drive-by's, personally I think this should be a feature server's can toggle on/off whereas stricter more enforced server's can have this function permitted under specific situations I.E. reasonable drive-by, car chase, etc. Then again, personally I don't really mind having this feature disabled. I feel like a lot of people might try and abuse this feature, shooting up other people while they're within the safety of their own vehicle only to have the ability to flee at a moments notice. Sure, this IS possible IRL.. BUT a considerable amount of people than usual may likely try to pursue a "career" in crime. Then again like TURAXIS said you're kind of in an unfair advantage if someone's shooting your vehicle up so MAYBE you should be able to shoot from your vehicle.. just with low accuracy. I just hope people care more about their character development than "winning" every fight where as to bend the rules to an unreasonable definition just to do so, it's not about winning, you know.. but enjoying the experience alongside building an honest character for you and countless other's to enjoy whether you're a Politician, EMT, Law Enforcement, Criminal, a Talk Show Host or whatever; Oh and by "honest", I mean within the fair grasp of what makes sense for your character to pursue and the actions they take alongside their endeavors while being within the very definition of that communities guidelines. If everyone tried just a little harder, there won't be need for some unnecessary rules.. I mean.. isn't that why we're all here? Hell, if it's within reasonable definition.. you can be the next Tuco from Breaking Bad if you tried. Some people think when someone says their "RP" isn't realistic or fair, they think it's targeted at them only because they're doing crime. No, if you're in crime so long you make it reasonably fair and realistic in terms of what you would expect out of someone in your shoes in real life, then there shouldn't be any problem! That's not to say someone won't try to complain if they "lose", just know who YOU are and build a great character everyone can enjoy one way, or another. Oh, also don't start up a small drug cartel and act like you straight up "own" the streets all of a sudden.. sure, you can try.. but it'd only make you look stupid. I've seen countless people try and fail this way, straight up acting like the best the second they started with random people they just met off the street the other day. Just thought I'd point some things out.. I'm not trying to lecture everyone on "proper role-play" but just thought I'd point a few things out that I've come across through personal experience.

    - 「 SAYONARA RACING 」 - - ABOUT US Welcome to Sayonara Racing. We are a street racing club with our own personal workshop. We formed the gang in the 90's when street racing was popular. Nowadays we just try to survive among the others with the spirit that is extinguishing. We used to be the top club in the 90's, drifting from the mountain touge to high-speed racing at the highway. -OUR ACTIVITIES Our original activity and our favorite one: mountain drifting, also know as "touge" in Japanese. We go to the mountain roads and drift downhill or uphill with our friends in the middle of the night, away from the people and the city. Sadly, those nowadays mountain roads are usually patrolled by police and are filled with speed cameras, so our trips to the mountains are less then ever. Thankfully, the city is big and there are places where we can drift, like the sea ports or abandoned industrial zones. We usually meet every Saturday night at XXXXX at XX:XX PM and drift until the morning sun comes up (if the police don't stop us). Our other big activity is the highway racing: Wangan style. Originated in Japan in the 2000's, people started to build high powered cars and run at incredible high speeds (300 km/h or 180 mp/h). Since our cars are more focused at drifting and are not that fast, we usually just go and drive on the highway, there's always people with similar cars to challenge. - WORKSHOP Our workshop is located at the outside of the city, away from the noisy people. Our workshop used to be members-only, but now you can bring your own car and let us modify it. We are experts in drifting builds. Also sometimes we have some cars for sale, come check it out. - VIDEOS Old video of our touge nights at the mountain, drifting all night. Video of these days, where we drift Saturday nights at the sea port. Onboard video of one of our drivers at the highway. Want to be one of us? Show us your ride, your skills and your true passion. Beware, the simple action of having one of our team stickers on your car means the police will ask you question!

I spent 50 dollars on the game so I would hate to not be able to run it and still not get a refund.

As long as you will need licenses to drive (legally) maybe they could implement the tutorial while you are doing it, for cars, trucks, buses, ships... So at the same time you get the license you learn the basics of the vehicles. Its a minor idea but I think could be interesting to be in the game.
  10. 1 point
To get your driving license, it so far has been mentioned that you just watch a short tutorial and then receive it but it could be changed potentially to this as of the new partnership they took. They may make things better like adding something like this but at the moment, best to ask on twitter maybe or @HairyGrenade can maybe pass this idea on?

Yeah, there should be an actual driving school and test. It's even more important if there's manual driving option.

Just so you know, you never mentioned those 2 people in blue to give them a notification. You need the '@' befor the name like so; @timmytim101 Also in regards to your mod application, they have messaged those who made it and so; If you got a message from them then you know if they picked you. Good Luck anyways.

I think that was a bit confusing answer to give... For 15 $ you buy a pre-order, thats the full game soon as it release, but you will not get the Beta access, so you will have to wait to try it untill they do the final release (for now its set to be in 2018) If you are interested in the full game, and beta access you will have to buy minimum the 30 $ package. (Founder pack) see below: Citizen Get your passport for access to Identity when completed and released (pre-order). Become a citizen! Includes: Passport, Founder Hat Buy Now$15.00 USD

Yes. You are able to buy houses and then you will be able to turn around and sell then to different people. You will also be able to rent the houses out to people when you own them.

Ok, you need to pledge $15 for the full game at full release which will be on steam. If you want to access the modules this year and the beta after them which is before full release then you must pledge $30 or more.

Well, first things first, you don't patent clothing, you trademark it. Patents are for inventions. Trademarks are for artistic designs, names, logos etc. Second, you could RP it out, take them to court (with lawyers) and depend on the jury's ruling have a cop issue them a ticket (fine) or jail time.

I would like to make 2 points here. 1. The reason Identity could not put 10,000 players on one server, but blizzard can is because of money. That type of computational infrastructure is incredibly expensive as you need a very power computer (or server synonyms in this case) to process all of the inputs of every player connected, relay those inputs to all nearby players, process a response for the AI, etc. Blizzard can afford such a machine, Asylum cannot. 2. Identity actually can support 10,000 players on a server. This is due to the partnership with Improbable and the spatial OS technology. Spacial OS essentially divides up all that computing into smaller tasks that many computers can then work on, allowing the use of much more, much cheaper machines, to do the computational processing. If you want to learn more about how spatial OS works, go to their website, Improbable.io. They have a really nice graphic that explains it in layman's terms.

You should implement a feature to create contracts. This could be useful at a judgement to proof an agreement. My idea was that i can create a contract where i write everything in it and all of the conditions or i just hire a lawyer for creating a contract. Then i can sign it, give it to another player that he can read it and if he signs it too, both of us have a signed copy of it in their inventories. This would be good to prevent scam (for example a worker that isnt paid) and it could make the job as a businessman, lawyer or judge even more interesting. Thanks for reading. Feel free to like to show the devs that you like this idea too. ______________________________ @Paratus @Motown

I honestly hate coming onto the forum when there's a couple of great threads for everyone to share their ideas under, but the next day there's new threads about the same topic that has been discussed prior. Could moderators please start pinning these so-called "Megathreads" so the forum would be more neat and organized? I know there's tons of new players registering even if just to ask one question, but I don't want to blame them for not using the search function and not lurking before posting. I strongly suggest pinning these to the front page, so people would stop making new threads. Character creation hair and clothes Vehicle wishlist General misc ideas and suggestions If you clicked on this thread, thank you.

I heard there was this weird game one can play for no charge, other than in game items and services. Though these seem to only enhance the gameplay. Food and sleep is required to continue playing as well as water and protection from the elements. It apparently has a sophisticated weather and ecological system and the four seasons are present. You are able to live at any point in the known habitable world and every area on Earth is programmed. You are able to get a job, though depending on how your character is designed, and their skills and location, it can be more difficult to obtain. I believe the game is simply called Life.

The majority of businesses are banks I see in this game. This also is ridiculous as there isn't an FDIC insurance fallback. With a vast majority of people playing criminals or that will have a criminal tendency (ie. bankers siphoning funds) the ability to protect money is limited. Unless the game designers have some sort of insurance against loss this banking institute is a mute point in this game. Unless these factors come into play: Death is permanent Jail is based on court rulings (ie real life 1 year, 6 month, 3 months of game time) Otherwise, this game will just be about making drugs, selling drugs, hookers, murder and everything else second life is now.

And this is why I find it hard to see you as a worthy competitor. I care about one thing when it comes to my business; money. Now I have a business plan and I have many strategies thought out, which will ensure customer satisfaction, but as a business CEO, when talking about my business, money is my only focus. That's how business works. You can't expect to succeed if all you don't view your inventory as property and money. Good luck nonetheless, but I doubt I will have an impact on sales due to this company. P.S. You cant label yourself as a high-end clothing line if your priority is making affordable products for the rich and poor. It is certainly a great idea to cater for this demographic, but you aren't high-end if you will sell to any Tom Dick or Harry who danders into your store. Kind regards, Joel Keys. CEO of Keys High-End Apparel. Please keep in mind that I am in character when posting comments and I mean no harm to you or your company when I make these criticisms.
