Now i have no idea but i think it would be a nice idea to have something like altis life, the police take them back to the police department restrained and go through processing basics, and give them a ticket to sign or something, and if the crime is great enough they can get escorted to a prison in s prison bus. I think crushing cars should also be a thing, say a car is used in a bank robbery and the police detained the robbers, they can tow the car to a scrapyard and then crush it.

If you mean just being arrested like after doing a crime, i guess the police would just tell you to put your hands in the air and if you do not you just get tazed and forced to be restrained then put in a vehicle.

Seeing that cops and criminals have a large role in the game it is very odd that we haven't gotten any details so far. Cause it seems like it would be an awful waste of time for the criminal to be processed, even if they get convicted its not like their gonna get banned.

Yeah  i agreee it's strange, I believe the next video coming out will highlight some SWAT features. What are your thoughts on processing, why is this a waste of time? Things like checking ID, checking database of their name to see previous convictions or maybe if they have a car check the number plate in the system if they have been caught speeding by speed cameras etc.. then explaining what happened and ticketing, maybe if there were witnesses there could be a court system and the witnesses would come to court.

I think it would be a cool idea that if someone got arrested they would have to pay a fine, but if the crime is big enough the police could start taking away your items.

Yes, and if you say committed repeat offences with a car, they can take away your car or drivers license, and if you committed crimes with a firearm they could take away a firearms license or just confiscate the gun.

Maybe if you committed a big enough crime the police could take away your house and belongings.

I mainly think it would be more pointless then a waste of time now because as a cop you catch a bad guy and he gets processed and released right back onto the streets. This wouldn't really be a waste of time for the cop probably gets some type of career xp and cash but it also seems like a redundant task. It would pretty much be a game of catch and release. I understand its all for the "experience" and "gameplay" butthe game also has to have some logic.

Imagine this a police chief assigns a detective a case to take down a drug lord. The detective puts in 1-2 hours getting the evidence. The dispatcher gets the SWAT team to assault and capture the player. The player is arrested processed in a day released with maybe a penalty of $1,000 and walks back to drug empire.

Think about it from the criminal point of view. Why avoid the the cops when you could let them capture you and in an hour just start playing again a free man.

A fix to this is maybe having ex-cons put on parol(maybe with a parol office) and, or have some alert if they start doing illegal activities.

I don't think if you committed a large enough crime that taking away houses would be warranted, but i agree that maybe if you don't pay taxes (If there is) or do related crimes like money laundering, scamming, or maybe if you take out s mortgage and fail to pay it back this could be a nice touch. I just don't think it should take away your house, because as i replied to your other post, currency will try to be as close to the USD as possible, and houses would be in theory hundreds of thousands which would be a hard job to earn and get it all taken away for trying to rob s bank would be ban and  could cause players leaving.

Yes I agree with that fully. I think you should only process criminals if you know you'd give them a ticket.

And to your comment about taking down a drug lord, with big enough crimes like that you would have s large jail sentence for him, but as you said it just ends eventually. Maybe they could go on probation or have one of those devices on their ankles that tracks them to make sure they don't leave a certain area or don't go anywhere dodgy. I agree that they could just go a free man eventually but it would be sort of hard to implement a feature that stops this, there couldn't be life sentences as this is a video game and you can't really lock someone in jail for the rest of the time they own the game.

No, they will take it to a impound lot. Police cant scrap a criminals fucking car just because it's a criminals. That is stupid if you ask me.

Well yes, obviously not scrapping a car purely because it's a criminals, but if it is used in a crime k robbery, drive bys, mowing people down on the streets, stuff like that.

That don't give them a right to scrap it.

I would say it does... Imagine if someone runs down 100s of people on the street killing them all, but if jail time and they get their car back afterwards they're out? Not a good idea

Tell me where they do it in real life. If it don't happen in real life then forget it as that's not realistic either way.
