  1. Work and Play

I'm currently in the Army so I go out on field problems around every two months for a month straight, I'm just wondering about how It'll work out when I'm gone for a month or more and I got a character in the game with a job, bills, etc. will my guy be fired cause I'm not here to work? Will I lose my apartment and other possessions because I'm not here to pay the bills? Will it auto pay bills while I'm gone and I return to a character with no money? Just want to figure this all out.
  2. Will the Town Square module release at midnight(12:00 AM)? If so, in what timezone? I'm an early bird.
  3. I looked over the forums to find if someone asked this (oddly specific) question, and I couldn't find any. So, I want to know what time of day on April 23rd Identity will be released. Because April 23rd is a Monday, most people will be at work or school, and personally I'd like to download this game as soon as I possibly could.
  4. As of now the developers have indicated that the maximum jail sentence is 45 real life minutes. This to me is too short to seriously discourage trolls from ruining the realism of the game by randomly killing other players. Since the real life penalty for murder or other major crimes is either life sentence or death there should be some more serious penalty in the game in order to discourage trolling and to increase the risk of committing major crimes. In my opinion the penalty for murder should be at least 2-3 real life hours. If the developers still insist on keeping it at 45 minutes, I suggest enabling private servers to adjust this time as a default setting or through mayor/government decision.
  5. Everybody gonna lose their mind.
  6. Time and sleeping ?

How will time play out in the game ?? Will it be real life time ?? I was reading the forums on the jailing system (( I won't be a criminal I just wanted to read the laws and my rights LMAOO I sounded like a criminal)) ANYWAYS will it be like 60 seconds equivalent to an hour like the sims ? that's awfully fast or real time like a minute = a minute, that would kind of be too slow but I could see that working out and could be a fun idea, also alarm clocks etc how will the sleeping system work ? if you sleep, time obviously can not pass since other players will be around you; I think it would be a cool idea to touch up upon stuff like dreams were you won't get bored of watching your character sleep the whole time and also can you put your avatar to sleep and log off with your avatar still in game but your'e not online so anyone who lives with you (room mate, e.t.c.) will see your avatar sleeping ??
  7. I have recently pledged $30 towards this game and I plan on pledging more. But one question for me remains to be answered, how long will the Town Hall Module be active for. Will it end when the beta comes out?

(d) Individuals are the owners and acquire property and pass it on to next heir after death. (e) Government has little role to play in the functioning of the economy. Prices of goods and services are determined by the market forces of demand and supply. Important Business Information Tax on businesses is 10% on company profit. After employees have been paid, inventory bought, etc. Depending on what the company reports as profit a business could nearly have no tax! The Tale of Lucious Times Lucious grew to be homeless on the streets of Los Angeles. In a city of crime Lucious had to be on the lookout at every turn. In Lucious' young life he grew to be very aware of the crime filled city and knew he had to do something to ensure his safety. At 15, Lucious started an organization with a few neighborhood boys called "The Peacekeepers". These boys were brutal. They cleaned the streets of crime in the most direct ways possible. Showing up to criminal hideouts and wasting away every member present, making fake visits to prisons and jails to poison and eliminate those criminals on the inside, making appointments with the LAPD to let THEM know how things would be done. The Peacekeepers were vigilantes at the finest. The city soon had a crime rate so low new schools were being built and more people migrated to the lovely city of Los Angeles. Through all the harsh deeds The Peacekeepers had done Lucious never was present for the actual action. He was the mastermind, the planner, the brain of the whole operation. Sitting behind a desk as leader of The Peacekeepers. Oh how things looked great! Lucious had made something out of nothing and became a city icon and hero as he grew older. Though soon, things made a turn for the worst. Lucious' closest partner, his beautiful fiance was capture by a man known by the name Gustavo Fring. A now well-known high profile methamphetamine drug lord. He did so because by cleaning up the city Lucious made distribution for Mr. Fring come to a complete stop in the area. Lucious grew furious, so furious he began to walk into a whole new light. The Peacekeepers became a weapon at Lucious' disposal. He thought long and hard and then finally had a plan. After finding where Fring was located Lucious and his team of over 200 men approached the location, guns loaded and ready for anything. However, Fring was already aware of Lucious' presence and decided to retaliate. Fring killed Lucious' fiance, then sent out total war upon Lucious and his men. In the end only two men were left standing; Fring and Lucious. After few words, Lucious caught leverage and killed Fring. Though Lucious was severely injured by gunshot. He called the LAPD. With quickness, Lucious was saved and had chance to speak with the LAPD Chief of Police. He thanked Lucious for his doings and after a long conversation of tears the chief left. Lucious began to realize how much he'd loss. All his men, his fiance, his hold on the city from crime all gone! Three weeks later Lucious walked out of the hospital, grab all $789,211 he'd raised with his people, and began to leave town for a new home. A place called Turtle Beach on Identity Island. However, when he got to the town line he found something waiting for him. Over half the city was standing their with gold-colored gold-scented candles. Some of them stood to give thanks, but many stood ready to follow him wherever he went. A woman by the name of Dorris Jean approached Lucious and told him this: "We give these candles to represent who you are to the city. Forever will you be the gold we all love, the gold we all know has provided, the gold we all know will pay the price. For to us you are a leader and friend. For you have become like royalty in this city. And with you royalty we be your royal family." Lucious was proud. All negative feelings previous washed away. Lucious now felt the obligation to continue to lead. For he knew he was wise and could give great leadership. This time he wouldn't limit himself to the leadership of a groups of boys who run a city, no. That was below him now. Now he needed to lead in higher heights where he could have greater impact and influence. A position of power such as Governor would do the trick! So he then decided to venture into the political field of leadership once he arrived in his new home. A few hours later after a celebratory evening Lucious and the now called Royal Family left. 12 days later they arrived in Turtle Beach on the Identity island and the rest is soon to be foretold...

  10. As we all know most games have day and nights and these times dont occur like real life , they take 5 mins - hours depending on the game . Now this game is different to many games and so i ask , will the timing be like real life? a full 24 hours cycle with the exact times when the sun goes up and the moon goes down?
  11. Real Time Meet markers

It would be cool if say you could go onto a map via your in-game phone, tablet or PC for that matter and arrange a meeting with someone at a certain time at a certain place, this would give the other player(s) a text message or Email in game whether to accept or deny this or an alternate to this is to reply via a text or Add new location and time. Just a fun little idea of mine, if it has already been posted please remove this
  12. I have recently heard of this game and have been psyched ever since. I've been waiting for a game like this all of my life but no one has ever been able to deliver. Identity has the best chance of making my dream game come true so I desperately hope at least some of my suggestions can be implemented in the game. 1) Freedom of Choice: This is the most important aspect of the game I'm looking forward to. I've always wanted to play a game that is focused mainly on the Sims aspect of real life as opposed to a game like GTA 5 that is basically just a game focused on criminality with limited option to do anything else. I want to have the freedom to lead my own life without being forced to engage in any type of activity. I know Identity is being built mainly as a police/criminal type of game but the ability to add non-criminal gameplay in addition to the detailed Sims aspect of the game makes this game ideal. My main suggestion here is please focus more on the non-criminal aspect of the game, try to make non-police non-criminal aspects/activities/careers of the game just as detailed and comprehensive if possible. 2) Realism: Realism is another big issue for me, making the game as real as possible would be perfect. My suggestions here are making the day/night cycle much longer than in GTA 5. You want to really enjoy each time of day without it passing by in just a few short minutes. I wouldn't even mind having to wait for my character to sleep for a decent while at nights if that's what it takes. I understand some players may not want this so having different servers with different settings could accommodate all types of players. Other suggestions are realistic walking/running speed unlike GTA 5 where first person mode always had you running. Realistic stamina so you wouldn't be able to run indefinitely like in GTA 5. Realistic season changes if possible. Realistic trash/waste/dirt forcing the player to do regular cleanup of the house/office, putting out trash, and washing clothes/etc. Bigger city sizes: if possible please make the cities bigger than Los Santos in GTA 5. Though Los Santos had a decent size a bigger city would be a lot more immersive and fun especially with lots of available activities. 3) Careers/Jobs: Please try to add as many different jobs/careers as possible. This is extremely important in giving the player freedom of choice and lots of options to explore. It will really increase the game's replayability. Here're some suggestions: - Doctor: Instead of having an EMT that heals players it would be a lot more fun if you had an ambulance driver who'd delivery emergency patients to a hospital where a player doctor would do the healing/surgery/etc. The doctor could take care of both "dead"/severely injured players as well as treat regular patients with common sicknesses. - Financial manager: Someone who will invest/trade for other players assuming there will be a decent and dynamic stock/commodity exchange in the game. - Garbage man: Assuming there would be trash in the game, waste management worker(s) could take everyone's trash once a week using a garbage truck. - Postal worker: Instead of delivering mail directly have a post office where the post office worker receives and delivers all player mails. - Regular office work that could somehow relate to other aspects/jobs in the game (examples> DMV where players would need to renew their registration/license/get car inspections/etc. Insurance worker, realtor, accountant, etc.) - Hotel manager: Assuming there will be hotels/motels where players could stay when out of town. - News reporter/anchor: You could be a reporter or anchor either filming real in game events or reporting on them, could include weather, business, and sports news as well. - Cook: With real cooking where you'd have to correctly use ingredients and process them correctly, etc. - Gym trainer: Where you help people in the gym. This could give a strength boost to the player working out giving them results faster so they'd have an incentive to hire a trainer. - Lawn maintenance: Where you have to maintain people's lawns and landscape - Cleaning service: Where you clean other players' houses, businesses, yachts, etc. - Regular jobs like managing a store/business, attending doors, bouncer, farm worker, assistant of all types, security, dog walking, etc. Some of these jobs can also be done by AI in the absence of players. 4) Activities: Please for the love of god include A LOT of activities in this game. One of the biggest let downs of GTA 5 was that it had a big map with very little to do. Almost none of the buildings could be entered and a lot of easily programmable activities were not included. Here're my suggestions in this area: - Allow players to enter/explore as many buildings as possible even if they're not directly related to the game. - Allow players to interact with as many things as possible, little things add up and go a long way to significantly increase immersion, a lot of it is easily programmable. In GTA 5 for example they had built a theme park but you could only do two quick activities there even though the structure for much more games/rides/activities were already built. - Sports: Soccer and basketball are the two most important but any additional ones would be welcome. Sports should include skill levels that increase the more you play. Your stamina/endurance/strength would also affect your performance. - Snow/ice activities/sports like hockey, skating, snowboarding, skiing, or just sliding down the mountain on a sled. - Public swimming, tanning, spa, billiards (pool), air hockey, arcade games, cycling, jogging, hiking, camping, kite flying, frisbee, flying drones (with camera if possible), etc. - An extensive gym system with lots of available machines/free weights/treadmills/etc. requiring a player to go through a decent routine and spend some time there regularly to become fit. 5) Businesses: Once again it would be great if you could include as many businesses as possible, some could require a direct player involvement, some could be done by AI. Here're some suggestions: - Parking Garage/Lot: Someplace players can park their cars for a fee, great for busy locations with limited parking space! - Laundromat: Where players can have their clothes washed - Restaurants and cafes - Bars, clubs, and lounges - Internet cafes - Malls, regular stores of all types - Car washes and auto shops - Tanning salons, spa, barber shops, arcades, etc. 6) Other: - College/University: Perhaps you'd need to get a degree for certain jobs like medicine where you're required to sit in long/boring lectures every day for some time before you're qualified. This will ensure only patient/interested players could go through the process to get the job same as real life. - Park-o-meter on some locations? - Online business rating where players can rate businesses. This will ensure the businesses who do a good job get more clients just like in real life. - Game events have consequences in different areas. For example if there is going to be a dynamic stock exchange a business/corporation performance will have affect on its stock price. Or commodity prices fluctuate based on weather/in game events/etc. - Car GPS has real GPS sound with directions not just a line on a map. - There should be AI in the absence of players. If a players is not available to attend a business/job an AI should replace his role. You shouldn't go to an empty business/store/etc. Also some AI could be added to increase population density and have them do boring mundane work regular players wouldn't do. - Video games: There could be video games in the game, you could play on your phone, computer, or in an arcade/internet cafe. 7) Flying: I know this is probably not going to be in the game initially but I think this is too important a field to be completely left out. Perhaps after the initial release when you work on adding even more size to the map you could introduce flying. This game just won't be complete without the ability to fly and it would add an extremely fun career of being a pilot. I've heard there's a plan to double the map's size by adding another island in future DLCs, you could then introduce airports and give the player the ability to travel to the other island by air. Please don't rule out this feature.
