  1. Let's Build a Future Together

Shamelessly taken off the Nationstates forums No we're not planning on getting married, we are just going to create a projected future of the Earth The aim of the game is that in each new post you create an event for that posts year Rules: One year per post Don't skip years Be semi-realistic - don't start getting futuristic technologies too early in the topic (i.e. no massive space colonies in the year 2019) Take into account the previous poss. A past post may make your post redundant (i.e if the sun explodes in 2019 don't go posting about the discovery of dinosaurs in 2026) Big events (wars etc) can last multiple years, but don't let them last too long I'll go 2018: Donald Trump is a victim of a failed assassination attempt. Naturally, he blames Mexico and gains more funding to finally start building his wall (you go next with 2019)
  2. Identity City - Game

Pretty much inspired by The Identity Skyscraper Your task is to build a city, like you build the tower in the Skyscraper thread. Basically, each reply constructs a structure of your choice (Park, building, arena, statue, etc) There is no limit to what you can build - be as creative as you wish, however some rules apply; 1. No destroying anyone else's structures 2. The city cannot be destroyed 3. One structure per post 4. No consecutive posts, unless the thread is dead or dying (ie you mustn't post twice in a row) 5. No god damn nukes 6. Stay within the rules of the forum Structure 1: A town hall for the city
  3. Would You Rather

We played this on a server I used to work on. Essentially all it is is you post a Would You Rather question while answering the previous one. Here is an example: Answer: Go Blind Would You Rather: Be Able To Be Invisible or Fly You get the picture. Have fun Would You Rather: Love or Money
  4. Identity writes a Dr Seuss story

Add a poetic line to continue the story. Try to keep the story rhyming and flowing. Write whatever you wish, no matter how weird The aim of the game is to keep it all going! I'll start; Bobby just sat there, sat there all day, Until he was abducted by a large bird of prey! -Continue-! (Obviously i'm not a natural poet, if I were good i'd much rather show it)
  5. What would you do?

I'm not sure how well this will work as I have sort've taken it off of a nation roleplay site A bit of a forum game Basically respond with what you would do if the above scenario happened, then give a scenario for the next person to respond to. It'd be good if you were to include yourself in your scenarios, you could even incorporate some roleplay into them Response: Scenario: ^Use this ^ Here's the first one, to get the ball rolling Scenario: You catch me, your best friend, breaking into your house.
  6. Forum Games Masterpost

As I've seen a quick growth in forum games recently and as the forum grows I thought i'd make this masterpost with all the forum games and 'past-timers' listed. The main purpose of this masterpost is so you can quickly find a forum game that interests you without using the search bar. The Lists Games Quick, before they see! Wikipedia game Continue the story game Geography Game Typing with eyes closed game Identity City Super Power Game This or That Game Banned for... dentity Skyscraper Continue The Story Game - Round 2 Create an Identity Story Using One Word At a Time 'Past Timers' Rate the Signature and Avatar of the Person Above You Gif Reaction Chain Rate The Above Song A Riddle - 1 (Riddle Solved - Spoiler) -FYI This post won't we incredibly useful right now, but in the future when the forum is larger and more populated this will make things slightly easier- -I'll keep updating this-
  7. Geography Game

A simple game where you post a place name with the first letter of the previous. You can post any city, town, country, continent, river, mountain, forest, lake and basically any geographical feature Rules; 1. If someone posts something like 'Red River' the first letter of the next word should be D not R as river doesn't count. The same goes for other geographical features and land forms (mountains, forests, etc) 2. If someone posts something like 'Mexico City' the first letter of the next word should be Y as it is part of it's name Example Person 1: Europe Person 2: England Person 3: Dover Person 4: Russia I'll start; Dublin
  8. Gif reaction chain!

Saw it on another forum and thought it's hilarious. Post a gif that is a response or a reaction to the post above you. Example: And we're going to start with this one:
  9. Continue The Story

Feel free to move this topic to the Hangout if it fits better there Again, this game was inspired by a Nationstates Forum topic Rules; 1. No Ninja'd (to avoid confusion, quote the above post) 2. Be as creative as you want 3. You shouldn't need to post more than 1 sentence 4. Make sure you leave the opportunity to keep the story going (don't say that all characters died, the world ends, etc) My other Forum Game i'll start; Once upon a time in a land far, far way, Shrek arrived at his swamp only to find...
  10. Wikipedia Game

Feel free to move this topic to the Hangout if it fits better there This idea is shamelessly taken off of the Nationstates forums. Basically this game takes you exploring the ever almighty internet depository of practically all of Human knowledge, otherwise known as Wikipedia. Basically you start at article 1, then you click on another Wikipedia article within article 1. Post the new article link here and then the next person will go onto your article and select and post a new link, and so on Rules; 1. Do not post a link to the main page. 2. You can use all Wikipedia languages. 3. Your article should be on the above persons article Link to story telling forum game Ask me any questions if you wish I'll start with this thread https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ottoman_Empire (basically click a link on that article and post the url of the new article)
  11. Quick, before they see!

Figured out we should start making some time killers and post-count-uppers in a shape of Off-Topic Forum Games! In this one we nominate someone in the comments (without @ so it won't show up in their newsfeed) and our goal is to count to 30 before they notice. If we reach 30- the nominating person gets a point ★ and the person who posted the 30 nominates another user in the same post. If nominated user comments here before 30 they nominate another user. You lose a point if you got counted up to 30. No negative points. Please post nominated user's nickname in a bright color (or colors) so it'll be easy to notice. Rules: - nominated user had to be active at least a day before getting nominated - nominated user didn't post they're going to be unable to access forums - nominated user has posted at least 3 posts in total - 3 other users have to post before you can add a number again, no spamming! -------------------- Arlmar 1
  12. The best quotes

Just post your fav. quotes from anything from your mother, father, your pigs, your friend in Africa to your friend in Alaska. Everything most likely is fine except racism and flaming on others I guess. Yeh. Something like that.
