  1. Pulling over someone?

so we all know there is a system in the law enforcement that officers can pull over someone not just by opening sirens but also sending a request to a player to pull over as a cop. but lets say he refused will he be automatically a criminal and change the pulling over status to a high speed fire in need chase??? and if a cop pulled over someone before 5 mins can the officer pull him over again after 5 minutes more or lets say 30 mins?
  2. I'm curious if the locations that players can sell drugs to are set areas? If that is the case whats stopping us from locking it down? Is it that the areas are ever moving, or that it would simply require more manpower than available to pull off an on-going lockdown? Can anyone help shed some light on this? (Apologies if this question has already been asked)
  3. Just ideas

Hey guys! I made this account like yesterday and these are the ideas I came up with: - First of all, doing bad stuff must be hard. We all know that almost everyone is going to just kill people when they made their character like a minute ago. Your character must be weak without all those training and more police on your butt if they can't catch you in like 5 minutes and not just give up if they lost you. - Going to the gym to be stronger and look fit etc. You can collect gym XP and can unlock like a new form of tricep or something. Each body part should have their own XP bar. Ofcourse your XP should go down after like a month, meaning your slowly going back to your older body. This also should affect how strong you are. - Trusty gamers should get chosen by the creators to report who is cheating. People caught cheating should get banned forever or start from zero. That will piss them fucking off and let them be scared so they can't do that anymore. - Not showing username. I feel like this a stupid idea but also good because it's going to force the gamers to find out who they are and so on. - An App that you can check on your real phone to see who is online in the game. Also all kinds of other stuff in the app similar to Instagram. The app's name should be 'Identified' - Graffiti in the game should be awesome. Under your art must show your username so it can prevent stupid things. It can also be voted to stay or to be removed. - Importing your own 3D model or making models in the game could help the game big time. You can also see wonderful stuff in the art world of the game. Also making your own animations too (like for dancers in the strip club , dance events, creating your own walking style). - Fighting system: You should be weak and don't know much moves besides a basic weak punch. Just like how I find the gyms should be, the same should be with boxing clubs. I really like the UFC game system. Your stamina should go down when you perform a technique so you have to fight carefully. You have to be in a fighting state to fight like a boxer,... - Scrap things like hair growing, having a baby and so on. Little things that don't make sense to me. But I think a character should get hungry and thirsty. So they can perform better. - Realistic money like in the real world. A push to work harder for gamers. - Omg please not a gun shop on every street corner. It should be far away in a hidden place. Carrying a weapon should be visible but you can hide lttle weapons. - Parcour training! - Death: Accidental deaths should let characters wake up in a hospital (if a player shoots you too and you didn't want to fight). By crime, in prison .Back zero when you die is extreme. - Driving: Everyone should behave when they ride. Random speed limiters? on streets. Police should punish you when they see you driving fast or parked wrong. Gas should be optional. - Making your own hairstyles!. You can make different sections of your hair longer, braided, stiff, curly and play with hairpins.
  4. How will drug raids work

If a player has to have an invite to enter any sort of housing how will police raid the drug labs and stuff? Will there be a certain area to make drugs or can you make them anywhere? Also what if you are at war with another gang and want to raid there coke stash or something like that how ill that work?
  5. Dogs / K-9's

    So, I used the search function (which, as many, I rarely do) and found that there were not a single topic about dogs or K-9's. So, welll, why not bring it up, and see if its worth a shot on the forums. Basically, my idea is that an AI controlled dog could in some way come with cops, or just bystanders, kept in leash, or free, and they could take commands and do drug searches, or be released after suspects or intruders [looking at it from a both cop view and bystander view]. Of course some restrains will have to be made so that it isnt like an overpowered element in the game. Cops could have dog transports like trucks / vans to transport their dogs, and since, preassumably cops will have to be active "X" amounts of "time" on the servers to keep the role as a officer, I guess that that would leave enough time to having to take care of their K-9 partners, so that its not a thing like "Set it, and Forget it". Alright, look. Just wanted to bring this up, since I watched a video on YT about police dogs [from Officer401], and it brought me to think [for some really strange reason] about this specific game, and if it could be added. Just want to see if people would like to have this. (And I guess that restrictions could be made depending on how these furry, cute, partners could function; good / bad.) {[(EDIT: Apparently, the search function is broken as balls (And why I dont like using it) since when I search for things, I found nothing, next second when I search for the same thing, EVERYTHING appears! WTF?!)]}
  6. Vehicular Variety

Hi!! In the trailer I saw a Dodge Charger with amazing detail, what different kinds of cars will be in the game? Will the cars appearances change because of which department you were hired at? Example: If you get hired at the Sheriffs department your car will say Police, Sheriff, etc. and you can go all throughout the county. But if you are city police your car says (City name) Police, and such. I can see you put a lot of time and effort into this game and I can tell it should become as popular as GTA with a few years. Thank you!!
  7. Law Enforcement Ideas & Suggestions

My ideas and suggestions for Law Enforcement in the game By @Indoorseeker If you have any questions please ask Outline 1 Mission, Vision, Core Values, Code of Ethics 2 Hiring Process 3 Hierarchy and Rank 4 Organizational Chart 5 Real life levels of Law Enforcement in the United States 6 In Game levels of Law Enforcement 7 Real life population ratios versus In Game population ratios 8 Law Enforcement Presence 9 Duties and functions 10 Tools, Gear, Equipment, Uniforms, Vehicles 1 Law Enforcement Mission, Vision, Core Values, Code of Ethics These are important for any real law enforcement agency to have as these items are often the foundation of what makes your agency and what your agency strives for. (Example) Mission Our mission is to safeguard the lives, rights and property of the people we serve; to reduce the incidence and fear of crime; and to enhance public safety while working with our community to improve their quality of life. Vision It is our vision to make our community one of the safest and most enjoyable places to live and to be a leader in public safety. Core Values Professionalism, Honor, Integrity, Courage, Excellence Law Enforcement Code of Ethics As a Law Enforcement Officer, my fundamental duty is to serve mankind; to safeguard lives and property; to protect the innocent against deception, the weak against oppression or intimidation, and the peaceful against violence or disorder; and to respect the Constitutional rights of all men to liberty, equality and justice. I will keep my private life unsullied as an example to all; maintain courageous calm in the face of danger, scorn, or ridicule; develop self-restraint; and be constantly mindful of the welfare of others. Honest in thought and deed in both my personal and official life, I will be exemplary in obeying the laws of the land and the regulations of my department. Whatever I see or hear of a confidential nature or that is confided to me in my official capacity will be kept ever secret unless revelation is necessary in the performance of my duty. I will never act officiously or permit personal feelings, prejudices, animosities or friendships to influence my decisions. With no compromise for crime and with relentless prosecution of criminals, I will enforce the law courteously and appropriately without fear or favor, malice or ill will, never employing unnecessary force or violence and never accepting gratuities. I recognize the badge of my office as a symbol of public faith, and I accept it as a public trust to be held so long as I am true to the ethics of the police service. I will constantly strive to achieve these objectives and ideals, dedicating myself before God* to my chosen profession...law enforcement. *footnote... individuals not obligated or required to mention God in their oath if they choose. 2 The Hiring Process In real life a person applying and testing to become a police officer will usually go through the following steps: apply to agency, participate in written and physical test, your application good scores will help place you on the agency candidate list, agency conducts oral board interview, one on one interview, background check, psychological test, doctors physical, final interview and official offer of employment. After the offer of employment the person would go into a probationary period of employment and start training with in the agency and then go to an academy usually within the first 6 months of hire. To my knowledge, game creators have said that there will be an application process that is a quiz and/or test that players will be required to take and that will determine if they can become a law enforcement officer or not. This quiz and/or test will be an automatic function on official servers to my understanding. 3 Hierarchy and Rank It is my suggestion and recommendation that the law enforcement agency on the game identity be the Sheriff's Office. I will explain more later. Sheriff Under sheriff Major Captain Sergeant Corporal Deputy Recruit 4 Organizational Chart Please refer to the attached image LE ORGANIZATIONAL CHART below 5 Real life levels of Law Enforcement in the United States Federal- federal agencies police all over the nation and usually respond at the request of state, local, and municipal agencies. State- the state police or state patrol polices the entire state, mainly on highways. County- the sheriff's office polices in all areas of the county, especially unincorporated cities and towns. Municipal - a police department polices in an incorporated city. 6 In Game levels of Law Enforcement As seen suggested on the forum, the population capacity on official servers is hoped to be about 300 players. Realistically for the game, it would be best to have one law enforcement agency that operates in order to save time, resources, and server space. I am suggesting it be a Sheriff's Office because Municipal Agencies in real life only patrol with in the city limits of the incorporated city they are based in. The county sheriff's office patrols all areas of the county, incorporated or not. And when you have a county who's population is really small, similar to the 300 player capacity in the game, it would be the sheriff's office that is the law enforcement presence in the area. You would not see a police department until a city was large enough to become incorporated. Also, the sheriff in real life is an elected official as well as a sworn in law enforcement officer. If this part was implemented into the game, it could provide an interesting feature to the game and role play environment. 7 Real life population ratios versus In Game population ratios In real life, according to FBI statistics, the average ratio of law enforcement officers to the general population is about 2 officers for every 1,000 people. So realistically, 300 people would only require one officer technically, but for role play and immersion there will be more people playing as police officers. I would recommend not going more than 10 % or 30 officers on a server. The other thing to think about is that Law Enforcement agencies are paid with tax payer money. Taxes are collected and a portion is reserved to pay for public safety and law enforcement wages. So if the official server is implemented to be as realistic as possible, the island government may not even have enough funds to pay for a lot of law enforcement officers. 8 Law Enforcement Presence In real life, on a shift, police generally break up their patrol area into different sections. This is especially true for a sheriff's office that covers a lot of square miles. Each section is assigned an officer or officers that will patrol that area or section for the duration of their shift. In scenarios where there is a request for additional officers to assist or an emergency dictates more officers, officers in that area or from different sections will respond to meet the need of the scenario. Not everyone would respond all at once, depending on the emergency or situation, but if a request is made or needed, 1 or 2 other officers will break off from their normal patrol and go to where the officer is needed to assist. 9 Duties and functions It is the duty of law enforcement to protect and serve. Both protecting and enforcing the law as well as protecting the individual lives, rights and property of the people they serve. The primary force of law enforcement is on the road. Thus a Patrol Division. The presence of officers on the road and the best coverage on the road is the best deterrent of crime and the fear of crime. The secondary force would be corrections. From small to large counties, the sheriff's office is responsible for the county jail and the smallest of agencies do not separate Sheriff's Deputies and Corrections Officers. For the purpose of the game, it would be best to train and use officers to fulfill the role and function of both Deputies on the road and Deputies in corrections. The third and forth force, investigations and special operations in the largest of agencies will have their own divisions but not always full time. The majority of agencies use already existing officers to fulfill the role of Special Weapons And Tactics. For the purpose of the game, normal officers can be used to fulfill the roles and duties of detectives, swat, air support, drug task force, gang task force, etc as they are needed when situations arise. The best use of resources is to have an officer that has multiple functions and can perform multiple types of tasks and responsibilities. 10 Tools, Gear, Equipment, Uniforms, Vehicles In real life this includes Duty belt Ballistic vest Vest carrier Holsters Firearms, pistol, rifle, shotgun Tasers Flashlights Baton Handcuffs Magazines Radio equipment OC/Pepper Spray Uniform and additional things like coats, etc. Gear bag First Aid Riot Gear Police Barriers Police Vehicle I am really interested to see an in depth customization of uniforms and equipment in the game. Please let me know if you have any questions. Family First, Mission Always. Stay Safe.
  8. Tickets/traffic violations like if you go past a police officer going fast and or running a red light or a stop sign he can pull you over and ask for you id or maybe insurance (you could all so use insurance if you git in to a car accident or someone steals your car) and he can ticket you or let you go when you git a ticket you go to the court and have to pay it and if you don't you can git a warrant out for your arrest this way the players that want to be officers can have more to do or if an officer see you with a gun out he can pull you over and see if the gun is yours or stolen and if its you he can ticket you for brandishing it would make the ones that want to be officers have more to do and be more realistic I'd like to see this put in the game.
  9. Hello everybody, I think that the game can implement a system of goverment with diferent kinds of careers inside of the goverment, it works of that next way, there is a town hall where the mayor will be elected by others players in the game, the town hall will be split in some carrers, mayor assistant, constructors to fix streets, roads and clean the city. This town hall will to control constructors of the city and may take tax of business and players when the players receive yours salaries. The mayor can management the town hall, making a good goverment or instead a bad goverment. Others things that I think : *The Police Departament will be split in various carrers, Sheriff, Assistant of Sherrif, Patrol Boss, Patrolman and civil guard. - The sheriff will take control of the PD with your assistant that will stay under your orders. - The Patrol Boss and the patrolman will be responsible by security of the city in the big roads and streets in the city, the patrolman will stay under orders of the Patrol Boss - The civil guard will be responsible by make security in beachs, town squares and some small streets * The Fire Department obviously will be responsible by fire fight and too by players rescues in dangerous moments at land. * The Coast Guard will be responsible by make security of the players in the ocean, shipwrecks rescue, players pushed by water flows to deep ocean and other situations that involve the ocean, and will be responsible by make the security of the boats and ships in case of the big waves. * The market can be ordened by some laws, the player can open a business and will have to buy your products from the other players that may be your provider making extraction of natural resources, and transforming the extracted material in goods to sell to a commerce How the your .. Reminder that the provider has pay tax to goverment when sell your products to a commerce, and the commerce also have pay tax to goverment when sell your product to final client. (The tax will be made to make fixes in the streets and roads that may suffer damages during the time.) *The prices of the cars, planes, boats, houses and etc, may be high prices but realistic prices to the game stay realistic. Its a humble opinion of the a seriuos brazillian gamer.
  10. forensics

I think that a forensic system should be put into the game because It'll make it better, say if u kill someone and leave the weapon the police/forensics can dust the finger prints off the gun/knife or trace a phone call to a location. This system seams good to me and I'll be grateful if the devs can code it. so what do u think about this system idea?
  11. Good Afternoon, I thought I would add a new topic that many people might be trying to overlook in this new RPG we are all so excited about. I wanted to bring up the role play aspect of Officer Integrity. I know from what I have read we will have a voting system on officers and other official positions that players can have direct input on. This alone makes for an amazing opportunity for people who want to play in the Law Enforcemtn rolls and other goernment rolls when the time comes. Please use this small guide as a reminder of what Integrity means to officers Police Integrity A police force with integrity is one with little or no misconduct or corruption. In the past, most studies viewed the problem of misconduct as one of individual problem officers, the so-called bad apples on the force. More recent studies show that whites generally see misconduct as episodic and confined to individual officers, while blacks tend to see misconduct as a more entrenched aspect of policing. Management and Culture Affect Integrity Current research finds that the management and culture of a department are the most important factors influencing police behavior.[2] How the department is managed will dramatically affect how officers behave toward citizens. And how officers behave toward citizens will affect whether citizens view law enforcement as an institution with integrity. Organizations that place priorities in the following areas will do better at maintaining integrity • Accountability of managers and supervisors • Equal treatment for all members of the organization • Citizen accessibility to the department • Inspections and audits • Quality education for employees Defining values and principles and incorporating them into every facet of operations may be more important than hiring decisions. Diligence in detecting and addressing misconduct will show officers that managers practice what they preach. How to Improve Integrity Findings from a study of 3,235 officers from 30 mostly municipal law enforcement agencies reveal the following recommendations for police managers: • Address and discipline minor offenses so officers learn that major offenses will be disciplined too. • Open the disciplinary process to public scrutiny. • Rotate officer assignments to discourage the formation of bonds that lead officers to cover up the misconduct of others. Many departments are improving integrity and raising the standards for officers by taking the following steps: • Improving the way they hire and train officers in ethics and cultural awareness. • Collecting data to track traffic stops and other encounters with citizens. • Soliciting community input through citizen review boards, ombudsmen or community problem-solving initiatives. I feel that if most if not ALL of the suggestions and lessons learned from these studies and examples of what to do will help new people just getting into the idea of this role playing community as well as veterans and founders of the game. If you have any questions or want to message me to chat about these thoughts feel free to do so. Very Respectfully Tiger_lily
  12. Police website

I had an idea that the police would have their very own website and already there is now hundreds of new opportunities that can be made. The police should have their very own website accessible to everyone not just the police however only the police officers and anyone in the law enforcement career should be able to make edits to the website while citizens could just check and try to report a recent sighting of the criminal so that they could possibly get a small reward in the arrest of the suspect. The website should be acsessable on all the computers and smart phones. Just to name some of the very few opportunities that would be avaible on the website would be the option to view the wanted list which would let officers know that this person has a warrant out for his/her arrest and also let's the officer know if this is a dangerous person it would also display any picture of the person if any screenshot or any previous served jail time has been acquired and served. That was just one tab I would put on the website however I have another idea for a section that would be really neat. For example if a police officer pulls over a man that looks like he is in his early twenties for speeding then the officer proceeds by asking for the mans proof of license and insurance on the vehicle. The man cooperated and gave you the information, you would go back to your cruiser and type in the info of the driver in several tabs full name, age, gender, birth date, expiration date of lisence and the lisence plate on the vehicle Once you enter the information it should give you a list of that persons records it should tell you any recent situations where he/she has been in such as any citations, arrest records, warnings or anything else needed to know about the suspect that the officer is dealing with. The officer should also be able to check different license plates on the website to see which car is registered to a certain person so that the officer could decide if the vehicle was possibly stolen. There also could be a tab for investagators where they could talk to each other and also look at gang bosses and different cases that they could try to crack down on. Overall I think that it would be best if each division of the police department had several sections and tabs of their own that they would use in different ways. I would love to explain more but with the creation of a website for the police I think that many opportunities would be avaible. Actually I think that if ignoring worked well this could be used for EMS to look up previous medical history of a client of theirs or even for firefighter or really any other branch of government that can find it useful. I would love to hear ideas from others and I think that this idea could go far if looked into. I understand developers have a lot on their plate but if possible I think this would need to be a necessity for the police and other service careers. I appreciate all of you taking your time to read this I would like plenty of feedback so that we can make this a thing that will happen. Any ideas of yours are welcome so don't be afraid to join in the conversation . I am new to the community so if I did or said something already being implemented orbeing discussed I would like to know so that I can think of other things not thought of already. Thank you!!!
  13. Hello Identity Community! My name is Michael, however, I go by TravisGB in the online gaming world. I have a quick question, a noob question, How do I become a member of the Police Department and move away from being an immigrant? ( not that i have anything against that) I have a passion for the Police force, and would love to join! if anyone can help me, that would be great! Enjoy your day guys!
  14. Sheriff Elections

I'm not even sure if there will be a role for an Sheriff in the Police Department. From what I've heard, Asylum has only confirmed that there will be Detectives and Dispatch. But if there will be an Sheriff, that will require elections. If anybody has news about the roles of the Police Department or the different types of elections let me know. Cause I may be one of the people who wants to run for sheriff in one of the cities.
  15. Jurisdictions

I'm interested in how Jurisdictions will work seeing that there are three different major cities supposed to be in the game, plus if you know like maybe there may be FBI officials for matters that include multiple cities or something.
  16. So i have a question (Suggestion if it's not planned for the game). As stated in the title, can the police give you a ticket for parking illegally? For example, parking in front of someone's garage. Or can their vehicle be towed for doing so, if so, Since i know that the game will have tow trucks im wondering if a illegally parked car will be one of the uses for a tow truck. If a vehicle marked for towing manages to change their location to try to not get their car towed, i assume their license plate would be saved so the patrol cops could use an ANPR to find the said car that relocated. Also, to mark a vehicle and make it stay in place i would love to see the cops mark vehicles and make them immobile until the tow truck arrives by locking the wheel so the car can't drive, and the tow truck driver can remove it at any time. P.S: This would only apply if there even are license plates in the game
  17. Number plates and ANPR

Will there be number plates and ANPR for police?
  18. Suggestion

I suggest you can get the type of uniform of the police from you are, for examples in Italy the cabinieris or in Spain the civil guard...
  19. Question about Police.

So, Ive been trying to find something about the Job as Police or EMS or anything around that can someone show or tell me a little more how that is going to work? We have to make application on this forum? or on site of servers that will be online or ? (Such as San andreas, arma 3 ect )
  20. SCO19

SCO19 Should be called in for specialist operations? Bank robbers are tough, armed criminals are cunning, SCO19 are both, but working for the good guys. SCO19 Would deal with armed situations, and help keep things under control. I'm not sure how this would work, and how you would be trained etc for it, but I'm sure there is a way! Add your opinions, ill add more to this post later
  21. Police Vehicles

So.. In some pictures there was a Crown Victoria Seen & a dodge charger. So.. I think there should be more like: Ford Taurus 2013 Police (Marked/unmarked) Chevy Impala Police Ford Explorer Police (maybe) Ford Mustang Police + Mabye for like Ranger of Forrest Cops a Ford F150 Raptor SVT For SWAT: Stanislaus SWAT Van FBI: Dodge Charger (undercover). Chevy Suburan (undercover) Bomb squad CSI: Camaro SS (Undercover(
  22. Jail System

So I have been looking to donate for a while now and want to become a citizen. But one of the major things that I personally am interested to know is will there be a prison system. Will we have the option to be a CO and to work in the Jail? I love the law enforcement aspect but I think this will be an important job/role to have in game. Im sure It has been suggested and will happen but im curious if someone can tell me how the Jail system will work.
  23. Police K9?

Will we be able to be a k9 unit officer?
  24. Bent Cops

I know it goes without saying but every system has some bent cops, will they be there?
  25. BORDER AND CHECKPOINTS

will there be checkpoints to search cars and checking for ID s and will there be border patrols between 2 cities?
