  3. I am writing to you on this forum to announce to you that I'm running for governor. I'm also asking for the support or consideration from the members of the police force of the great island of identity. I will tell you a little bit about myself and some of my policies and open it up for questions. I will start off by saying I have the utmost respect for the men and women in uniform. My uncle for whom I'm very close to is a police officer and talks about some of the things he has to do/go through. I know that this is going to be in a game but nevertheless your job will not be easy and I understand that. Here's some of the things that I will propose to hopefully make it easier for the officer's on the line of duty. First I will designate a portion of the tax dollars to go to the police force so you guys can have the best equipment and vehicles etc. Maybe 10-20% in that area. The next thing that I will do is set up a bonus program for officers who are doing good and are on the force for a long time. This will be a thank you for your service type of thing. One policy that I want to make clear is that NO and absolutely NO hate crimes towards cops will be tolerated. These will be met with swift justice and may bring with it the ultimate penalty. The same can be said for you guys (the cops) please don't abuse your power which i'm sure you won't. Cops I'm with you all the way and understand that we need you guys. I will personally not ask for escorts from you guys because lets be honest here, you guys probably have a lot of better things to do. As far as training goes and what not I'm not very experienced in that area but I would like to at some point get together experienced instructors to generate a standard operating procedure and training program. This is a way to better you guys and make you the best police force of all the servers on identity. Suggestions/Questions? Please ask and I will try to respond to the best of my ability. Note: Since the game isn't out there is no promises due to the possible limitations that we don't know about yet.

  6. Drop Off & Robbery

    Hi Guys, I plan on playing out my life in Identity through organised crime, but in a way that perhaps hasn't been thought of as of yet. What I'm thinking of doing is arranging an organisation that specialises in home robberies. Naturally, it will require confirmation from the Devs to say whether or not this would be possible, but what I'm thinking is having a coalition between couriers who pick up & drop off at people's homes for online purchases and thieves who are willing to sneak into these people's homes and steal their goods. The way this would play out would be as follows: A player orders an item online from another player, and decides instead of collecting the item they would prefer to have it delivered to their property. The courier is assigned the task of collecting and dropping off the item for the purchasing player. After being assigned the task, the courier contacts a thief and they travel to the purchasing player's property together. Close by to the property, the thief exits the vehicle and sneaks up to the property. Both players agree a rendezvous location for after the robbery has taken place. The courier then arrives at the property and proceeds to drop of the assigned item to the purchasing player. Meanwhile, the thief sneaks into the property by an alternate means of entry and robs items from the purchasing player's home. This would have to be completed within a pre-agreed timescale to maximise effectiveness. After the item has been dropped off with the purchasing player, the courier and the thief rendezvous at the agreed location and move onto the next job. This could be complicated by purchasing players owning pets that could give away the thief's location, or if the purchasing player is in fact a cop/SWAT an on-the-spot arrest could take place and the thief is sent to prison. Just a thought! Let me know what you guys think of the idea, and whether it is something you would like to see in-game! JFeetzz.

This is currently a rough copy so changes will be made as more updates come out. Goals- To start a network of marijuana production and distribution for the purpose of making some cash and building a reputation of a trustworthy business you can rely on. This after all, is not a "gang" but more of a enterprise, we do not classify our customers no matter of what career they've chosen(unless their cops). We distribute our products to all parts of the island, whether you be in a populated city or hidden in a dense forest. Our products will reach you and will satisfy your needs. I also hope to expand my network to include a money laundering operation to keep the heat off our organization(unless the sale and manufacture of Cannabis becomes legal, but we'll cross that bridge when it presents itself.) Recruitment- Prospective members must chip-in monthly for the Organizations equipment and potential upgrades and/or any legal trouble members may have. Provide information on other Cannabis grow operations in your local areas. Once the beta goes online I will layout our territory given pre-discussing with other Clubs/Organizations so we don't step on any toes. Members may not have a criminal record when they join. If a member does get themselves in trouble with the law, The leader will back the member with financial support and retribution is necessary. Method- Hopefully warehouse space or farm land will be available to buy, If not you'll have to use a network of apartments for production. Transfer that production to a central location for inventory then distribute. A network of apartments I am willing to help you develop. *I should say the town square module will be the testing ground for network production through apartments. Warehouses may come later on but for major production as of right now, a network will need to be established. Members- Currently, we have no members, but as The High Society is a newly formed business, it is not surprising. Nevertheless, with future endeavors, our list will hopefully grow to safely provide you the finest products in the quickest time possible.   9. A way for players to "illegally" change their identity to escape the police, harder to find those same players again. To be a surgeon that does surgery illegally they would have to be in crime and their client would also have to be a criminal. The surgeon would have past files of all the illegal surgeries they've done, so if they are caught their past clients are also caught. Give character customization more strict boundaries for this concept to work, such as having to pay for plastic surgery if you want to change your physical body (not haircuts or changing character body weight) just like the real world but your character has a medical record of what you looked like previously so the police can track you. While doing it "illegally" you do not have that medical record. This would also make "plastic surgeon" a career. Implement it by having players to actually pay for some kind of schooling. Not as long as a 8 year course but a way to limit the amount of players wanting this career; for example it should take at least 1 year and you'd have to pay a lot of in game money. Have a "surgeon" NPC already in game that players can go to so they can change their bodies if needed. When there are "surgeons" in the game just disable the NPC from being able to change a players appearance and have players look for other players that are surgeons. Such as going to a shop that does surgery. This would be interesting because it means Police could access medical files to see if a criminal has changed their appearance if done legally.

  11. So, I was reading the Reddit Q&A forum, and noticed that there was a question about armored vehicles. The response was that maybe S.W.A.T would have armored vans, but other than than their wasn't any. My question is, would players be able to steal an armored S.W.A.T van and drive it into a warehouse somewhere to use for some kind of heist they plan later on? This is assuming they disable any trackers and lose the heat.
  12. 1. Will there be any areas under CCTV surveillance? So that if there was a murder/robbery in the surrounding area, the police could go back and look out for suspicious behaviour or build a rough time scale of people entering and leaving the area. I think that would be a really nice touch. 2. And on a quick note, would there be anyway to have let's say, two servers running side by side so maybe one take the a heavy load of the data and the other can take maybe things like, surveillance, police files, ect. sort of like a remote access server for misc files.

    I was wondering how gangs could be handled in the game. I know about the gang wars and such but what I was really wondering about is some of the more extremist gangs such as neo-Nazis and the Cartel. What I want to know about these gangs is how they would be handled in the confines of the game, like will the neo-Nazis have marches and hurt people and will the Cartel abduct people and try to get secrets out of them? Anyone feel free to talk about how this could/has been implemented into the game. Thanks

The following is a chart of our family tree as of this post and a description of the rank and what your expected of. Boss/Don: Is head of the organization, the boss is a dictator and has the power to order anything from anyone in the organization. The Boss makes all the important decisions, much like a CEO of a company would. Although each mob boss may run his outfit in a different way, they have one thing in common: they are greatly respected and widely feared by their subordinates. All of the men in his outfit pay him a tribute, so he is also usually an extremely wealthy man. Most Bosses of the Mafia are Multi-Millionaires or Multi-Billionaires, and are incredibly powerful, influential, extremely dangerous, and universally feared. More commonly, the word "Don" may proceed his first or last name. Underboss: Second in command. His level of authority varies from family to family, but he is ready to stand in for the boss at any given moment. In the violent, brutal, and volatile world of the mob, the underboss can easily find himself at the helm of the family so, for the most part, they are usually groomed for an eventual takeover, particularly if the boss’s health is failing or if it looks like he’s headed for a stay in the joint. Consigliere: Also known as chief advisor, is the Bosses right-hand man. The Consigliere is not officially part of the hierarchy of the Mafia, but he plays one of the most important roles in a crime family. He is the close trusted friend and confidant of the family boss. The consigliere is meant to offer unbiased information based on what he sees as best for the family. He’s not supposed to factor emotional concerns, such as retaliation and blood feuds, into his decisions. The consigliere is not required to be a direct relative of the boss. Instead, he is chosen solely for his abilities and the amount of knowledge he possesses. Generally, only the boss and underboss have more authority than the consigliere in an organized crime family. General: This man is will be a trusted and loyal friend to the Don or Underboss and is usually highly skilled and takes charge of the protection of the inner circle and leads next to the Captains. Captain/Capo: The captain or lieutenant of a division within the Mafia. He heads a large crew of soldiers and can order them to do anything the captains also report directly to a boss or underboss, who hands down the instructions. He ranks much higher in the hierarchy of the Mafia. Each individual crew is named after its capo.(The capos in-game last name.) Soldiers: The lowest-ranking members of the hierarchy of the Mafia and La Cosa nostra are the soldiers, the grunts of the organization who do the majority of the work, making deliveries, picking up cash, committing murder, assault, battery, Bombing, witness intimidation, killing jurors, bribing Law Enforcement, Politicians, and Government Officials for the Mafia, generally sticking out their neck in the hope of making a name for themselves by demonstrating their loyalty to the organization, and protecting the organization at all costs.. Associates: These people are not actual members of the Mafia, but they work for the Mafia. Rather anyone who teams up with them on a criminal enterprise of some kind. They could be someone who does business with the Mafia, and someone who kills and does dirty work for the Mafia, including money-laundering, fraud, bookmaking, skimming, Extortion, drug trafficking, weapons trafficking, Heists, murder, assault, bankers, bribing Cops, Judges, Lawyers, Politicians, Mayors, Governors. Associates can not turn down an order from the Mafia, if the Mafia gives them an order they have to follow it, and they are on call for the Mafia 24 hours every day. In order to join the Macle Family you must first contact me, the Don. Once the game is released you must swear an oath of loyalty and deposit a small investment to our family. After which you will undergo a trial to secure your spot in the family. Please note only me the Don has the power to kill one of our own and anyone who attempts to or succeeds in the murder of a family member will be killed and banished.     I'm beginning to get a little bit worried that too many people are only playing Identity for the crime aspect. I want to be able to have fun with my friends and do things without having to worry about dying 24/7 like GTA online. Am I imagining things or do other people see this happening as well?

    Hey guys! I made this account like yesterday and these are the ideas I came up with: - First of all, doing bad stuff must be hard. We all know that almost everyone is going to just kill people when they made their character like a minute ago. Your character must be weak without all those training and more police on your butt if they can't catch you in like 5 minutes and not just give up if they lost you. - Going to the gym to be stronger and look fit etc. You can collect gym XP and can unlock like a new form of tricep or something. Each body part should have their own XP bar. Ofcourse your XP should go down after like a month, meaning your slowly going back to your older body. This also should affect how strong you are. - Trusty gamers should get chosen by the creators to report who is cheating. People caught cheating should get banned forever or start from zero. That will piss them fucking off and let them be scared so they can't do that anymore. - Not showing username. I feel like this a stupid idea but also good because it's going to force the gamers to find out who they are and so on. - An App that you can check on your real phone to see who is online in the game. Also all kinds of other stuff in the app similar to Instagram. The app's name should be 'Identified' - Graffiti in the game should be awesome. Under your art must show your username so it can prevent stupid things. It can also be voted to stay or to be removed. - Importing your own 3D model or making models in the game could help the game big time. You can also see wonderful stuff in the art world of the game. Also making your own animations too (like for dancers in the strip club , dance events, creating your own walking style). - Fighting system: You should be weak and don't know much moves besides a basic weak punch. Just like how I find the gyms should be, the same should be with boxing clubs. I really like the UFC game system. Your stamina should go down when you perform a technique so you have to fight carefully. You have to be in a fighting state to fight like a boxer,... - Scrap things like hair growing, having a baby and so on. Little things that don't make sense to me. But I think a character should get hungry and thirsty. So they can perform better. - Realistic money like in the real world. A push to work harder for gamers. - Omg please not a gun shop on every street corner. It should be far away in a hidden place. Carrying a weapon should be visible but you can hide lttle weapons. - Parcour training! - Death: Accidental deaths should let characters wake up in a hospital (if a player shoots you too and you didn't want to fight). By crime, in prison .Back zero when you die is extreme. - Driving: Everyone should behave when they ride. Random speed limiters? on streets. Police should punish you when they see you driving fast or parked wrong. Gas should be optional. - Making your own hairstyles!. You can make different sections of your hair longer, braided, stiff, curly and play with hairpins.
  18. Multiple Careers (Crime & Business)

    I may have misunderstood things, but will there be a way to have multiple careers at once? For example, if I wanted to have a crime organization, but be able to own other businesses as well such as a mining company, would that be possible? It seems as thought there is a linear path, career-wise. Like I said before, I may have misunderstood things or looked over something but if not, I believe that this would be a great inclusion to the game.
  19. Nebunebu- If you read phase one (Infamy in Numbers), you remember that I described our first month online as hitting up stores and others to rack up as much cash as possible. You see, this method works for a certain amount of time, but for long-term growth we will need to strive for anonymity. Hiding from the law will only work for so long. Phase two is all about bribing, hiring, and laundering. Since the game has not been released, we are at a lack of knowledge to even discuss laundering, but we already know we can bribe cops. Phase two begins when we have enough money to pay off cops. The lowest ranks of the cult will bribe cops, hire more members, and assist in heists and other general robbery. We will pay cops and prison guards a good bit to look the other way. This will result in more successful crimes, and less jail-time. Relentless Cult I am you. You are me. We are everywhere.

The first month will be racking up as much money as possible with minimal jail-time.     I will be holding an administrative position in a drug enterprise, and I am looking for at least two others who would be willing to under me. If accepted, your tasks would mainly include drug distribution and transportation. The pay will start out low but quickly rise as the industry starts up. If interested, comment below.
  24. Will this be a system that is utilized at some point in time? Seems like a fun crime to take part in that is not very dangerous. A minimal fine or slap on the wrist and you are right back at it!
  25. My idea for a perfect crime system is one where there is a permanent death , basically there would be life insurance that counts as extra lives . If your a criminal you'll either have to pay a lot for insurance or you simply can't , depending of the severity of the crime. Lets say you sold drugs - you could buy insurance but it would cost a lot. If your a serial killer - you'r too dangerous and are a maniac , therefore you'r not going to be sold insurance. Insurance would be quite expensive and it would be determined on how much money you currently have. Insurance would also be stack-able to a certain limit. This would ensure that even the richest people can't have hundreds apon hundreds of life insurances. I see this system as fair , and players who have eared there money legitimately wont have to fear from unfair RDMs (random death match), or at least as much. This way seems the best system I've seen so far as criminals have to be prepared for perma-death. And innocence don't die unfairly . I would love to see this idea take off, so let me know what you think,is this full-proof are there ways it can be improved. Is there any flaws with this system?
