I did want to take a moment to mention some of my favorite forum members, based on their activity. Firstly of course, @LuciousTimes...that could have been seen a mile away. There are more though, @Vincent_Luciano, @Anonymous_Citizen, @Frank, @KIRBYDUDE, @Micky_Tohmpson, @LuckyDuck, @Identity_Party_Org, @DrivenMuffin, @JoelKeys, @MichaelPayne, @Andrew811 and so many more. I hope to see you all in game one day.

Right now, the TS is the main focus, not just because it will be the first playable build, but it's the backbone of everything. The backend systems and game itself has been built from the ground up on the module, which is what is taking so long. The foundation of the game is being set with this module. There won't be any map extension to the TS, but the shooting range in the Police station will be opened up after release so you can try out some guns, as well as interiors of other buildings and tattoos after initial release of the module. There has been some development on the second module which will essentially include "missions" where you will act to stop bank robbers, etc. There will probably be different parts of the map then, but not much. The last module, racing, will include a racetrack featured in the full map. Not much of the actual map is created yet since there is still lots of networking and programming to do in order for everything to run smoothly, you probably won't see other parts of the map for a while as there currently isn't a dedicated level designer hired yet.

Before I post this, I'd like to first point out that I am a great advocate of this game. Identity does exist, and I am sure it will eventually release and also be a great game. I have always supported it, and will continue to do so. I understand that development takes a long time, and that there can be hiccups along the way. I disagree with what most of OP has posted, other than the part that I have quoted, which has bugged me for the last week or so. I have followed the task tracker religiously since it was announced in April- nearly every day I have opened the website to check what has changed, and have made a note of the changes. At the start, the devs were completing multiple tasks each day, and progress was flying. Now that we've gotten closer to the end of the tracker, production has slowed right down, and at the moment we're getting around one task each week. I understand that as we got closer, progress would slow down as different developers who had finished their work on TS would move to work on something different. However, I wan't expecting things to move this slowly. Maybe I am being judgemental and pessimistic, but it seems to me as if that is a: "Oh shit, we're near to 'release' so let's slow down how quickly we complete these 'tasks' that don't really have much connection to what we're actually working on, and were only introduced to appease the community." I know that you guys have also said that the devs have encountered smaller, backend bugs that were not significant enough to be on the tracker. However, it just seems suspicious that these bugs that have brought task progress to a standstill have only been a problem in the last week or two, when the game is at 'imminent' release. Look, I am obsessed with this project, and want nothing more than it to succeed, whatever the timeframe. However, I just want a bit of transparency, because at the moment, I feel like I have spent the last couple of months constantly checking the task tracker in vain. I will still support this project and it would be bloody fantastic if this is just an elaborate conspiracy theory I've created in my head. Please prove me wrong Identity; with actions, not words.

Isn't this a prime example of a choosing beggar? I need work but you must meet all of my expectations?

Greetings citizens of Ash Hill, we just wrapped up today's stream where John showcased some more game play of the the upcoming Town Square module, interacting with numerous items in the game world, showcasing interiors, emotes and more! Take a look here!

I have an idea, and it’s just an idea, but hear me out! A lot of individuals start groups, whether it be gangs, businesses, political parties, but all those groups are forced to have a single vision. No one really has their own “Identity”. What if we formed a neighborhood. A group of people that could be themselves and yet still be a part of something together. No jobs or anything, just a group of people that live life.

Much appreciated, I'm also looking forward to meeting everyone, I can already imagine the rich RP content. Forum activity is something I enjoy, so I will be present until release and beyond that.

Thanks man! Much appreciated. I look forward to seeing you in game as well, though whenever they allow for private servers I'm most likely going to be playing on them, since there'll be communities with stricter RP rules.

To be honest, I'd prefer it to be the other way around... purely because players tend to be complete dicks these days that will do anything to gain an advantage over someone when it comes to multiplayer. In PUBG, players would turn off all additional texturing and detail, and that ultimately led to you thinking you're safe hiding in a bush, but on the "cheats" screen, you're sat still out in the open fully exposed... this shouldn't be the case in an immersive game, you can't just turn bushes off IRL, so you shouldn't have that option in this game imo, or to turn off a lot of detail that could otherwise alter the way the game is played.

The game currently isn't out, but the first playable build is very close. After the tasks on this page are completed you will be able to redeem the game via steak key.

You're probably one of the most childish individuals that I've ever encountered within this forum. Fortunately, you will less likely be stationed within a white-listed server due to your displayed behaviors.

We need like, legit aliens to tell us what to do. they might enslave us, but that might be better than being nuked by ourselves (joking lol). Who knows? Only time can tell what can happen.

First of all, is it even in your jurisdiction to go after an organization of this size? I thought that was the FBI's job. Sure you might make small busts, but you're a small drop in the bucket when it comes to law enforcement against organizations like these. So before you go acting like some vigilante cop that wants to target an organization that as of this moment, has done absolutely nothing wrong, how about you make sure your own department is actually a force to be reckoned with, first? I'll end it off with another Charles de Montesquieu quote, since for whatever reason you seem to adore him. "There is no greater tyranny than that which is perpetrated under the shield of the law and in the name of justice." - Charles de Montesquieu

The government is small and very restricted for the mere purpose of not ruining the game for everyone else.

People told me in the beginning that this topic wasn’t a good idea, but I’m glad I went with what I felt was right!

The missing arms and legs was a product of using our development client and isn't a bug to fix. The cafe isn't planned to open at release, nor is the tattoo shop. They'll be shortly after. We've shown the apartments in depth, so that wasn't a focus. You can find that video on YouTube. As for the combat video we showed, keep in mind that we're developing Identity in full. Some core features aren't in the Town Square, and it's not usually the same people working on those areas. You'll notice that area had less polish than the soon-to-be-released Town Square because it had less focus at this time

We were all just taking breaks and watching TV, but after reading this post you've set us straight! Thank you for getting the team back on track.

In more depth however, it was a great presentation. It finally gave a detailed insight into all they’ve said was being done...though it’s been delayed often, this stream made me feel a lot more positive about Identity’s future and reputation.

I plan to roleplay sort of like myself, since that would be really easy. I would try to stay out of most crime activity as best as i can. Probably just try to find a good job that I would enjoy, hang out in social areas and... whatever else comes up.
