right can we please have this sorted? every week now there is at least 2-3 posts like this where it's someone whining about anything and everything. yes people are entitled to express their feelings but legit this is every week if not every day and most of us are fed up of seeing it. also if you've been here for 2 years like you claim then you'd know to be patient like the rest of us as opposed to some people who have been here a few months and think they deserve everything for nothing.

Every single day, for the past few days, the development task tracker has been updated, yet nothing on it has actually changed... Why is this? Seem's like a way to trick users into believing tasks are being done more often than they actually are.

If you haven't noticed yet, 100% of the information on this forum is opinionated. We don't even know when the ts will release and that was supposed to be MONTHS ago. With this rate of progress, I wouldn't be far off. The Devs give us shit for info so anything here is all opinions.

The Town Square is the first Identity module set for release, available to all pledgers with access to the game beta testing phases(That means that you need the Founder package to be able to play them a.k.a the $30 pledge package). As a social module, the Town Square will allow you to create and customize your characters, meet new friends and enjoy a handful of interesting and fun things to do. This is your first preview of what's to come with Identity!

The past months here at the studio have been hectic, but our labors are paying off. It is with regret that I must make the decision to push back the public release of the Town Square module from April 23; however, the delay will be quite minor. Because this is now the second delay to an official firm release date, and because we expect this delay to be short-lived, we are as of this announcement releasing the Asylum Task Tracker. The new task tracker, visible on the Town Square section of the official website (here's a link for you), offers the Identity community and fans absolute transparency in our development progress. You can now see the tasks we have to complete before we're ready for the module to be publicly available. It will be updated each and every day. The list is not long, and displays all tasks since the tracker was created only a day ago. When all of the tasks are completed, of which none are major, Town Square will be released on Steam and available for play. Furthermore, the new Identity website is on schedule for a release just next week! The new website will come with all sorts of cool new features and we'll be building on it constantly as we move forward, too. With the release of the new website, I'm also going to begin regular Identity Insider releases. These Insider publications will add a ton of very detailed information on key systems within Identity. Delays are unfortunately a reality of all game development, whether a game is being produced by a large studio with hundreds of developers or a small team, such as ours, with only dozens. We faced unforeseeable technical issues recently; however, all of the issues we had have been fully resolved and, as you can see with the new tracker, release is extremely close. As soon as we get some final bits of art in place, we're going to compile a Town Square trailer video and begin showing off the game and environments on our development streams. So to sum it all up, keep an eye on the new tracker (see that link above) and follow our progress. The tracker will be updated once per day as it has to be done manually. Once we get our production software updated so that it can be automated, it'll be a live display. I also want to say that you to our loyal community and fan-base. Delays are never a fun thing to experience with any game, so everyone here in the studio is working overtime like crazy to get you into our world. You'll be in the Town Square very soon and this is going to make the game a much better experience. I'm really excited for our first module release as it's shaping up to be a really fun and beautiful experience. In fact, the Town Square is much more than I even though it would have been early on; I'm extremely happy with what we've put together. I hope you enjoy the peak behind the scenes with the new task tracker and we'll be seeing you in the square soon!

Okay ill briefly try to explain everything in points: - Making a game isn't done overnight, it takes a lot of work and can take up more time than 3 years, definitely with a small development team, they also had to rewrite the code that set them back a few steps. - The task tracker has been updated daily(except for weekends and today), there is no visual change because these last segments might be large and close to finished but not just yet. - The website is finished(or close to at least) but the payment provider hasn't replied to their messages, this isn't the development teams fault. - The last couple tasks obviously take longer since there are fewer people working on these, most of the developers have been assigned other tasks having to do with the other modules. I hope this clears out your concerns, the game will release just have a little bit more patience, you might even get to play the first module within the month.

Best to state it as your opinion, I know it is but how do new comers know? They won't until they go and tell others. I know you was just answering about what you think but just be on the safe side and state somewhere it is an opinion and not official.

The whole map/ island will be in the Beta after all 3 modules. Don't spread false information, that is your opinion. @Worldraider Concept art but it is something: https://gyazo.com/9df27eb1b3dd420403d116d91a485320

The visual change don't always happen when it gets updated, because the work/ progress made might be a lot but might not warrant a visual change.

Communism does not promote the intentional execution of innocent human beings, unlike NAZI Germany's promotion of executing non-Aryans. The "Hammer and Sickle" initially symbolized the "Worker's Struggle for Liberation", which utilized the "sickle" to represent the "Agricultural Struggle" and the "hammer" to represent the "Industrial Struggle". Thus, based on these arguments, the NAZI symbol is prohibited within Identity Island while the "Hammer and Sickle" symbol is permitted within Identity Island.

I have never seen more lazy developers than Asylum. It has taken them 2,5 years to make 33 percent of this game. I have seen several clips from the game, and it's really not that good if you think about the time that it has taken for them to make it. I really want to refund it. Take a look at Far Cry 5 for an instance. The Graphics in Far Cry 5 are better than identity's will ever be. And if you think for a second, you will know that identity's full game probably first comes out in like 2023 compared to the time it has taken identity just to make the town square that isn't even finished yet.

They might delay the release, they might not. Either way, i am sure if they delay the game the only reason why would be because they aren't satisfied with the game yet. You must understand that making games aren't done over a couple of days or many years in some cases. At least not the good kind of games.

My answer is neither yes or no, it's in between. I think this should it should be a thing if weed is legalized by the mayor/president or whatever, dispensary's should be able to be opened if they obtain a growing license. If it becomes illegal because of a new mayor, dispensary's should get a notice to shut down instead of being swated right away (if they can be). That's just my opinion.
