Hey Asmami! Unfortunately there won't be any planes or helicopters in the game. So sadly no "flight simulation" in Identity if you're looking for that. The world would feel way too small and the players would miss a lot down there to explore. I think Brian explained it a bit, but I totally get your point there. Besides that, there will be an airport for RP reasons and also for possible DLCs to fly to other islands. (not 100% decided yet) If you have more questions please take a look at the FAQs and the Twitch Clip Directory in my signature down below! Cheers, Isaac

All of these are a yes except a few. Cannot give debit card away or drivers license, there won’t be types of walks and no idea what the computer system will look like for police.

The Devs have already stated a couple of times now that they won’t be adding any aeroplanes or helicopters into the game for players to use as they feel it would break the immersion. They also want people to really “take in the sights and atmosphere” (not a quote, simply my way of describing what they said) rather than simply flying from point A-B and missing half of the island’s sights. I completely agree with the Developers on this one. Planes and helicopters would ruin the game, not to mention the trolls who would simply kamikaze all the time.

Hello! Access to the first module will be next March. The project is divided into three pre-release "modules" that each provide additional functionality. After all three are released we should get a full Beta release. The modules are small portions of finished gameplay for us to check out during production. When the Beta releases you should be notified. Hope this helps.

The time draws near! In the last dev blog I sent out, I mentioned that we were going to announce the release date for our first playable game module, the Town Square. Those of you who follow our Twitter and Twitch streams will have already learned this date. It's a very exciting and important time for Identity; we're fast approaching the time where you'll first step foot in Identity's grand world. We've crunched all the numbers and can now say with fair confidence that the Identity Town Square module will be released, to all backers with a $30 or higher pledge, on this coming March 21st. What will you find in the Town Square? The Town Square is a social game module. You'll be able to create your character, which may be transferable to the retail game after release, and meet hundreds of other Identity backers in the town square of the clean and quaint city of Ash Hill. You'll be able to talk to those around you, add them to your phone contacts and have full phone and IM support to stay in touch. You'll find a completely functional cinema playing full movies around the clock, a karaoke bar to show off your skills (or see me making a fool of myself), a working restaurant, art gallery, shops and more. The biggest single feature is the housing system. You're getting a taste of the full and complete player housing mechanics that you'll find in Identity. Everyone will have access to a tiny apartment, but those who pledged for higher rewards will be able to check out and decorate their larger spaces. It's a preview of what you'll have in the full game. Invite friends to your place and party it up! After the initial release of the module, we'll continue to add features to the Town Square as they are completed in development for Identity. Barbershops and tattoo parlors will let you customize your character further. A garage will let you sample your vehicles. You'll even get to test your ability with firearms in the police shooting range before the SWAT module is released. For me, one of the most exciting parts of Town Square is just to get inside the game and finally get a feel for Identity and how it plays. Check out a few of the Town Square work-in-progress shots we've released in the past. It's been a long road for the development team here at Asylum, but we're almost there! Flexing our new manpower Productivity has skyrocketed with our new office. We're working better and there are now many more of us knocking out code and assets each day. Our programming team has expanded with Charles and we're still hiring more. We've brought three new and incredibly talented 3D artists on board as well as a new technical artist. Brandon, our new Community Manager, has been hard at work keeping you in the loop. These guys are all proving their worth each day and I'm extremely excited about where Asylum is going. Looking to the future With some of our Town Square art wrapping up now, we're beginning to shift a bit of our focus to the second module: SWAT. The SWAT module will be a team vs team competitive shooter using the combat mechanics you'll find in the full Identity release. Expect combat to be slower and more realistic than most similar games. You'll learn much more about this module as work progresses. Above is an MP5 sub machinegun which will be used by the SWAT forces. This particular model was created from scratch in a matter of days by one of our new artists, Dan. The awesome talent of our art team is undeniable! -- John VanderZwet

Hi Rollercoaster47! As stated before by the others, you won't be able to play the game before the first module (part of the game, like an early alpha) comes out. The first module - called Town Square - will be released on March 21 in 2018. After the 3 modules (Town Square, SWAT and Racing) are out, there will be the Beta release which will include the most parts of the full game. So in your case, with the $30 package, you'll be able to play on March 21! If you have more questions, please look at the FAQs and the Twitch Clip Directory inside my signature. Cheers! Isaac

((sorry about being away, I think I should be able to be a bit more consistent now)) Kevin watches the Cadillac drive off, leaving two bodies on the ground. He starts the engine on the Mustang and begins the long drive back to Roseport. After several hours driving (and several back roads), Kevin finally pulls up outside of his shop. Kevin heads inside and opens the garage door, bringing the Mustang inside. Kevin opens the trunk pulling a duffel bag out containing the promised money. "Well he didn't lie" Kevin grabs a screwdriver, removing the plates from the Mustang. Next he grabs a car cover, tossing it over the car. Kevin flops down on the couch, the full weight of the last two days finally washing over him. Just then Kevin's phone rings. "Hello?" "What do you mean you got it?" "Well that is great news, drop her off at the shop, I owe you big time" Kevin flops back on the couch, staring into space for a few minutes before his sight focuses once more, this time on the bag of money. He jumps up and grabs the bag, heading into the shops small office space. Kevin opens a small safe under the desk, and starts to place the money inside. As Kevin locks the safe, he hears a knock at the door. He opens it up and sees a old friend of his. "Jack, good to see you buddy!" "Just because I saved your car from being crushed is no reason to act like this" The two men stare at each other for a few moments before bursting into laughter and giving a large bro-hug. "For real though, good to see you. Open up one of the bays and I will tow her in here" Kevin opens a garage door, and Jack backs his flat bed with Kevin's destroyed 240sx on top. "Fucking hell, I was in that shit" "I took a look at the frame, and it is properly fucked" "Shit, that was a clean car when I bought it too, cost me way to much money to wreck it that fast. Fuck, I was supposed to go and do some show drifting this weekend" "So whats the plan? I know you, your bound to have another car you can take somewhere" "I guess I could break the E30 out, I haven't driven that little beast in a while" "And this car?" Jack points at the ruined Nissan "Strip what I can off of it, most of the powertrain should be recoverable" "Alright man, need a ride anywhere?" "Thanks for the offer, but I need to take the Bronco back to storage anyways" "Okay then, have a good night man, get some rest, you look like shit" "Fair enough, see you around" Once Jack has left, Kevin locks the shop up and heads back to his apartment in his Bronco. Kevin parks outside and heads up to his apartment on the third floor. He tosses his plaid jacket onto the back of the couch and heads into his bedroom where he flops down on the bed. Just before passing out Kevin notices his clock reads 2:30 am. Kevin wakes up the next morning at ten, grabs his hat from where it fell off his head in the night, and grabs his coat off the back of the couch and heads down to his truck. He drives across to the city outskirts into a fenced off property with the only building being a large barn. Kevin stops in front of the barn, and opens the door, driving the Bronco inside. Kevin parks, hoping out, and heads to a metal box on the wall. He opens the cover revealing several rows of single keys. He hooks the Bronco's key onto a empty hook, and scans the rest of the keys, eventually grabbing a single key with a red tag. Kevin then flips on a light switch, revealing a row of covered cars stretching through most of the barn. Kevin walks down the row, stopping mid way down, and pulling the cover off, revealing a lowered red 1990 BMW E30 M3 with gold rims. Kevin unlocks the door and sits down, memories flooding over him. He shuts the door and fires up the engine, letting it idle for a few minutes while he got a sense for the old cars condition. Once satisfied, he sets off, locking the barn behind him.

Some type of money sinks will be required other than rent. Car maintenance, property tax, etc. Otherwise people will naturally begin to horde cash and when enough is in circlation the server will either have to generate more ( inflation ) or let the economy stagnate. But I am.interested in seeing it all play out myself.

Sadly, that map posted above is very much out of date. The current geometry and layout of Identity's world has changed vastly beyond that conceptual map. However, Identity's world will be based on the Carolina states in the United States. Ash Hill represents something similar to Beverly Hills. More wealthy and a lot cleaner. Turtle Beach represents Myrtle Beach. and Roseport represents a mixture of places like New York which will be much more compact and run down, a slum of sorts. While there are no real good pictures showcasing these locations, quick google searches can help get a general idea of how the cities will look.

Hey, I was wondering if you could start your own distribution company where you could get the food from your suppliers (hunters) and sell them off to the stores where people can buy it. I think it would be cool and it would add more realism into the game.
